    TBH those channels has helped me a lot in my life. I can't afford to see a therapist so in my case I do learn from it and also I'm reading coran and learning about islam and what it said about those experiences so both are important and helpful.

    Islam already teaches us about boundaries. Each and every person have rights and obligations. Parents are required to treat children equally and justly to avoid discrimination. Siblings have rights and obligations among themselves which needs to be implemented to respect the rights ( boundaries) of everyone that will teach them the respect of boundaries of other human beings.
    Husband and wife have their rights and obligations ( boundaries) defined by the Creator Himself. And same in all aspects of life. Unfortunately discriminations and no respect for rights starts from home , then it spread its branches to society.
    Muslims are required to be more cautious about the boundaries of others as the best among Muslims is the one from whose tongue and hands are other safe.

    I am currently doing a placement as a psych student, There were many times when I said to myself ah if only this person knew about Allah and believed in the creator they would feel better. People have mental health illnesses, giving medicine and with therapy, people can feel better to an extent unless they have some existential issues, which most people have. As someone who wears a hijab and is obviously muslim, the patients have an initial reaction, but then as they get to know you their judgement changes. I also believe that it could be a type of dawah, if someone is looking for a purpose they might start asking questions about Islam and research more. Psychology studies human behaviour and how certain services can be improved, an example could be a certain type of interview technique used with the police, which does not mislead an eyewitness in a crime, so that they say the truth and not anything false about an incident. I love learning about people and our abilities because it reminds me of how amazing our creator is by looking at his creation SubhanAllah.

      Aslamalaikum. Just remember that ALLAH IS SUFFICIENT ❤. You might think it's terrible and it definitely must be for you but just remember that if you have faith ALLAH SWT will guide you through in a beautiful way. ALLAH IS NEVER UNJUST. Wallahi, sometimes we just can't even imagine how great of a plan ALLAH SWT might be planning for us.

    I have so many questions i don't know what to do.
    Like now after listening this bayan seems like most of our studies aren't healthy for our brain and society but the basic reason of toxic behaviors.

    • @BaytAnNur
      @BaytAnNur  6 дней назад +1

      It's completely normal to feel overwhelmed with questions about deen and duniya. Remember, seeking knowledge is a journey, and it's okay to take one step at a time. Don't hesitate to reach out for support! But also don't distance others over trivial things. Wallahu'Alim

    Salaam u alaikum
    I'm as imperfect as any human being can be, but shukr day by day my yakeen in Allah is growing. I'm a student of psychology and if anything psychology helps me strengthen my yakeen in Allah. Psychology helps me understand why I feel the way I do and so I turn to Allah to give me the patience and strength to heal after enduring years of abuse.
    Ustaad, your wisdom and compassion, and your knowledge and yakeen in Allah is what helps me get closer to Allah. I'm not disputing what you say about Psychology. But there are benefits of psychology in ways that strengthen my imaan. May Allah guide and protect you to continue to be the source of ilm for so many of us who strive to be as knowledgeable as you are and who inspires us to appreciate and revere our beautiful religion, insha'alla.

      Wa alaikum as-salam! Sounds like you’re on a dual degree in psychology and faith! Just remember, when life gets tough, Allah's your ultimate therapist-no appointment needed!

    • @bellak2140
      @bellak2140 3 дня назад +2

      @@BaytAnNurwould you also tell someone whos leg was cut off in an injury that Allah is his healer, no appointment needed? Or would you say go seek medical treatment while knowing that Allah is the healer?
      Psychological problems are real. When you grow up with a narcissist parent, you need the help of psychology to understand the danage it causes to your nervous system and brain. I tried your approach for years yet it made my life worse until it started affecting my iman negatively because my symptoms required more than just talking to Allah. In fact, my duas is probably what led to me to learn about my psychological issues so i advice you not to advice people like this. Seeking treatment for mental illness or learning about how the human mind and nervous system works to understand yourself better does not contradict Islam.

      @bellak2140 this is the only sane comment I see here. This khutba is very misleading. At what point do you say no? I have been dealing with and forgiving the same person for 20 years! And I'm done. According to Ustadh, it doesn't matter how you feel. You should shut up and put up because feelings don't matter. Allah knows best.
