How to Remove Integra Climate Control to Uninstall Wideband Gauge (VLOG 4)

VLOG 4: Decided to uninstall my wideband gauge and had to remove the climate control unit in the process. It is a pretty simple procedure but still made the mistake of calling a screw, a bolt.

Good video. My temperature slider has been broken / is really lose. So I might have to replace climate control. Is there an additional step to what you do in this video to pull the whole thing out?

ProTip = You can make any screwdriver a magnetic screwdriver by laying the tip of the screwdriver against the biggest magnet you can find (speaker magnets work great - I have an old junk subwoofer that was in a previous car I bought I use)

I just used a 6inch speaker and after magnetizing my screwdriver it was meh meh but after leaving it in the rain and elements ect seems like the pull became stronger as if it came from the factory as a magnetic driver. Weird but useful

Anyone know how to make the hazard button light up again? I think the bulb may have died?? My dimister still works

i think 3mm neo wedge twist lock is what you need or you can try getting leds and retrofitting them in the oem sockets, not sure what voltage led though , might need 12 volt(it will have built in resistor)

If I wanted to change just the vents bezel without actually changing that whole center vents unit with the buttons and all could I do that? My vents are messed up and I found a bezel on ebay with the vents and no buttons. All the AC buttons work in my Integra but it's just that vents bezel that needs to be changed. Could I just change that part out?

I can’t figure out where to run the cable through ! Every way I run it through comes out too long or either not long enough . Somebody help I’m trying to install my carbon fiber one.

at 12:37 I wish it was that easy,to undo my cable.
Mine has a little metal piece,that has a zig zag shape & it has to go into a tiny hole for in to work... I had to call it quits,as its to dark to try & hook it back in...for now,I have no A/C/,until I can fix it /put it all back together. Also,I had to go to a friend's house,to try & do the work. I am not allowed to work on my car,at the apartment complex. To bad,I didn't see your ass sticking out-I bet its cute like you-LOL!
