【Research】Solidification of Mg-C-O-H systems by the Cold Sintering Process

Prof. Hashimoto and his group investigated the hardening of Mg-C-O-H powders into ceramics under a low-temperature sintering technique (cold sintering process=CSP) and showed that solvent water played an important role in accelerating the solidification process and lowering the sintering temperature.
