This seasons is shit for F1 fantasy, my mate and myself have issues with the names created for our teams and leagues. It says they are under review, but it never seems to be solved. The names we used are non offensive or disrespectful so not sure what is the problem. We tried creating different teams and leagues, but no matter what we do it does not work. Any advise?
Hey guys first time trying this, I have been playing the Fantasy Premier League game for many years and this looks similar. Question, the regular move or the head to head move for private league with friends. FPL is head to head. Want to create a league but not sure which is best for mini league with friends. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hey Johnny! I play FPL too and it is indeed quite similar. Head to head (as far as I’m aware) only allows you to be in a mini league with one other player. That doesn’t quite seem worthwhile doing, and I enjoy aspiring for a high overall rank like I do in FPL, so my suggestion is to create the total points league, which are the ones I typically join in F1F
Ok thanks for the info FIFH! Follow up question, probably obvious. Can I be in open leagues and at the same time create a mini league head to head for me and my friends like FPL? I want both but I definitely want to have the mini league.. and that same team I create will be present in both?@@f1fantasyhub
Did the Lando price factor in all of his DOTD votes? That's possible, but it doesn't explain the absurd Oscar price point. It's a shame as I think a lot of us had him in our plans this year. Maybe if they are killing it in testing having them as a constructor. Lets see
I reckon it’s quite probable. Oscar I think would be more competitively priced around 17-18m. Now I worry he won’t feature in any teams initially if LEC and Hamilton prove to be better value
hey guys. Alpine finished 6th last year, essentially best of the rest. However, their drivers (priced at 7.8 each) are cheaper than the likes of ric and tsunoda. how is this possible?
I assume it's based on several factors - Alpine's regression in the second half of the season, Ocon's high DNF rate and VCARB's ascendancy when new upgrades arrived later in the year. Add in the fact that the VCARB is taking components from the RB19 makes me think they will be more competitive out of the gates than the Alpine team
Thank you for the informative video, do you think STR/RB is a stronger combination than LEC/FER? also are you able to make a video explaining budget increases? noticed you ended last season with a 140m salary cap
By RB I assume you mean Red Bull? Because in the game the RB is $8.4m? I think the Red Bull viability for constructor largely depends on how Perez performs. Won't have a clear answer until we get to FP in Bahrain. I won't do a video solely on price changes but essentially if drivers do well their prices go up. If they DNF or lose positions, their prices go down. By how much? F1 have never clearly explained the mathematics behind the adjustments
hey rob! exciting to be back, for sure!! interesting that you're favouring max in your team rather than having RB and so covering both max and checo. consensus in the fantasy world has always seemed to be to go for the strongest constructors to maximise points. these initial prices do make things very interesting!! 😁
Great to have you back Glenn! Yeah the Max vs Red Bull conundrum is something I’ve been agonising over. But Max for DRSB is too good to pass up it seems at the moment. Maybe I’ll have a change of heart after testing and when we see the fantasy sims
I would be happy to join your league but your code does not work. Can you post the code in the comments as I don't know what I am typing in is correct. Thanks
My analysis/opinion: - VER as a driver is 100% needed for double points - RB is also a must in my eyes, since PER has some good scores and even if he doesnt, VER brings in a lot by himself > This leaves you with RB2 or ALP as second constructor - This leaves you with 33,7M or 33,8M which will force all builds with ALO or more expensive drivers. Most probably a selection out of STR (kinda risky but can pay of greatly if he performs well), RIC (might be a bit overrated), TSU, OCO (has had a lot of DNFs last season, also in the first race, but is in my opinion the most underrated if you leave out the DNFs), GAS and ALB, depending on testing and FP. What do you think of this?
Fully agree with your point of view. The one thing that concerns me is how unpredictable that remaining lineup of STR RIC TSU OCO looks. If the RB looks solid out of the gate, then it could really be the template/meta lineup early on. For me, it boils down to LEC and FER vs RED and STR/OCO. All comes down to testing and FP as you say
Yep looks like they did!! Only thing they didn’t change that I would have liked to have seen is the DNF but I think they’re still taking steps in the right direction and listening to our worries!
It should be '@F1Fantasy Hub 2024 Official League'. I’ve got the league details in the video description along with the auto join link if you try that!
WE ARE BACK!! I agree the pricing is great (depending on testing of course) Just happy we are back and I joined your league! Good luck!
Thank you my man!! Looking forward to another big season

They've somehow bestowed MCL with the status of a Merc without them having won any races... @@f1fantasyhub

Excellent video mate - really looking forward to the season and more of your content 👍
Thank you mate - appreciate the kind words!!
New around here. I prefer these nice summary videos when playing fantasy sports (specifically FPL). Let's GO!
Glad I can help!! I’m trying to keep my videos under 15-20 minutes as much as possible this season 😂

PUMPED for another season of F1. Best F1 strategist and fantasy videos out there! Love your work Rob
haha thanks mate!! ❤
What is the name of the leage because it sais i have joined but i cant find the leagues on the app. Sorry for the inconvenience

Great video. Thanks. Looking forward winning my ML.
Haha good luck!
stoked the team i made yesterday is the same as your team!
Didint like your disrespect to Checo, you do know he was second place last year right? or is it for other reason you dont want him in your team?
I said his campaign was error-riddled. I don’t think that’s disrespectful, just a fact. Would you disagree?
Checo was super inconsistent. The comment was justified. I hope Checo can pull it together this season
