Three years passed, i still keep coming back to them, my X1. Their sudden disbandment was my first heart break in kpop and til now, it still hurts. I can't even listen to their songs without tearing up, which once gave me joy listening to.

I’m so happy for hangyul. On the unit he was one of the four people that had the chance to debut, but he wasn’t chosen. Now on produce x 101 he was 7th place and his facial expression says it all. You can tell he thought he was going to get rejected but then he didn’t, which made him surprised. Although I am saddened by the news of x1 I know I can support my two favs, hangyul and dohyun. Please support their new group as well!!
Maybe because some X1 fans forget who the biggest victim is and said they don't care about manipulation votes bcs all they want X1 continue stay despite all of this mess (just like some of the comments here)

@@malakghalb8280 produce changed the final lineup, trainees that were supposed to debut didnt get to debut. i think there was 1 trainee or 2 of them who were supposed to be in the final lineup, min kyu and someone else. before the evaluations/eliminations, trainees knew if they were going to stay or leave they were already informed i think. though they knew nothing about who would get into the group/the final. x1 disbanded since the company figured that the boys didnt sign their 5 year contract and just decided to disband them after the news of the rigged lineup if im not wrong

My heart still aches like ACHES everytime I watch this 😭 We were robbed of the BEST LINEUP to ever come out of this show, not one person from this ranking lacked in ANY way.. I know in the other produce groups there was always at least 1 member lacking but X1 was top tier and I will never get over it 😭
Looking back, I really feel like Kim Mingyu has been very very mature and composed in dealing with all the ups and downs during this season. Would love to see him be one of the biggest names in Korea, even not as an idol.

Before the vote rigging, and assuming the other positions are accurate, the line up would have probably been: 1. Kim Yohan 2. Kim Wooseok 3. Han Seungwoo 4. Song Hyeongjun 5. Cho Seungyoun 6. Koo Jungmo 7. Lee Jinhyuk 8. Keum Donghyun 9. Son Dongpyo 10. Lee Hangyul 11. Lee Eunsang It's a shame because X1's lineup was so strong, but MNET's corruption had to ruin the dreams of the X1 members and Jungmo, Jinhyuk, and Donghyun who were rigged out. This list of course does not also consider the trainees who were unfairly eliminated during previous rounds.
For me I'd say the one's most likely added in by the PD are Dongpyo, Minhee, Chacha and Hangyul. Dohyon was always up there the whole season. Hangyul had never been close to debut position and Dongpyo's trajectory throughout the season was just going down in ranks. Jungmo was probably switched for Minhee. Starsh** was already planning Cravity and it would make sense to keep the really popular one to draw people to Cravity while milking the X1 money from overworking Minhee. When 2.5 years is up and exclusivity ends, Cravity would have already established themselves. A lot of companies didn't want to send their trainees because of the unfair distribution of profit. They work the boys like crazy but get so little back. I would not be surprised if Starsh** decided to keep the bigger moneymaker for themselves. The same reason for Minhee I would give to Chacha. Starshi** and Woollim were some of the agencies named that paid for escort services for the PD. Plus the fact Yunseong was told he wasn't debuting tells me that Woollim had an agreement in place. When the contract exclusivity ends, Chacha would join back with Drippin that would have been led by Yunseong at that point. Also Chacha's popularity was mostly early PDX. His popularity was kind of losing steam in the end. For Hangyul, he was not really in the top ranks throughout the show so it would be hard to be included in the debuting team. All the rest were really popular. Also MBK were called for questioning about their involvement in the bribery in PD48. They got away then so who is to say they won't try again? MSnake might have also seen how popular he was with internationals so they put him in. I'd like to think he was legit though. Hangyul had a lot of noona fans and those fans had money to vote unlike the canteen fans. Dohyon was always in debut ranks plus he had a lot of loaded noona fans so he was sure to debut imo. As for Dongpyo, he was an MNET pick. If you followed PD Note, the trainees initially voted for the center (my gut tells me it was Sihoon) but PD Ahn changed it all of a sudden because they wanted a different center to represent the show. Then we now had Dongpyo as center. Dongpyo's popularity was going down through the season so he might have been out of debut line. But since PD Ahn already rigged him before, why not again? They can also continue that the-pick-me-center-always-debuts scenario. And my hottest take. I would.not be surprised if Wooseok actually won as center. Yohan was MNET's center pick from the start and they did every single good edit for him. No one else would have been center imo. This was obvious by episode 2. For Wooseok, they did all these nasty edits hoping for his popularity to drop. Unlike Daniel vs Jihoon where the difference in popularity could be spotted, Yohan and Wooseok were neck and neck. We'll never know who really won though. The whole fiasco was awful for everyone. The ones who were rigged out lost a life-changing opportunity. The ones rigged in had to suffer the mental torture of wondering if they really made it. The ones who legitimately won lost a life-changing opportunity and also had to go through mental torture. MSnake, Starsh**, Woollim and all the other companies who toyed with these young boys are garbage.
@@cheshirecat5155 I actually think Hangyul is actually likely to have made it in naturally - he had a late surge, and before the rigging really probably have been the last trainee in besides the 11th. Dohyun’s position is a bit more precarious - he may have been up in the rankings but his position was a lot like Minkyu for me; good, but when it comes to final voting I wouldn’t really be surprised if he got passed up at the bell. I’d argue too that Dongpyo also made it but be low; he was on the line but likely. Minhee is unfortunately pretty obvious in place of Jungmo, and Junho was of about equal popularity as the rest of the trainees ranked 12-20. Jinhyuk being removed was obviously the red flag that something was up lmao. Either way, well really never know given that they’re only releasing the names of the trainees who were rigged out. For all of them it was such a shame, and MNET really needed to deal with more ramifications, as well as the companies who worked to rig in their trainees.
@@cheshirecat5155 I also think that Minkyu would've probably be the X and Eunsang is somewhere between 9-10th place because Minkyu's ranking was very similar to Kaeun's (PD48) his rankings were 1/3/2/2/3 and his lowest dip was 10th place and came up 5th place in the 11th episode which is also similar to Kaeun whose lowest dip was in 8th place and later rose back to 5th place.

All of this is just conjecture based on the only info that we have, which is the names and places of those who were rigged out, which, logically, would imply that those who are currently in their places were moved up in the ranking. Popularity is not a question lmao, especially since you can't argue that any members of X1 are actually that popular right now in the industry with their current groups. There's always a black sheep in these shows anyway; by your logic, based on 'popularity', Minkyu should've been in X1 as well! However, we now know that he wasn't rigged out of the lineup, he just didn't have the votes in the end to make the pre-rigged lineup either. There's a perfectly good and logical chance that Hangyul made X1 through his own merit - we will just literally never know who was actually rigged in since that information will never be released. Try thinking sometime, it's pretty fun! And exactly, it's 2021. Stop giving such a shit about Hangyul or other fans who have different opinions than you, lmao. X1 disbanded, none of this actually matters anymore. Move on.

Not knowing a thing about them in advance I thought he was just the perfect for the center. I know how dirty the work was done to exclude some members but his videos was the most liked by the audience so in a sense he deserved it.

Starsh** was already planning Cravity and it would make sense to keep the really popular one to draw people to Cravity while milking the X1 money from overworking Minhee. When 2.5 years is up and exclusivity ends, Cravity would have already established themselves. A lot of companies didn't want to send their trainees because of the unfair distribution of profit. They work the boys like crazy but get so little back. I would not be surprised if Starsh** decided to keep the bigger moneymaker for themselves.
The same reason for Minhee I would give to Chacha. Starshi** and Woollim were some of the agencies named that paid for escort services for the PD. Plus the fact Yunseong was told he wasn't debuting tells me that Woollim had an agreement in place. When the contract exclusivity ends, Chacha would join back with Drippin that would have been led by Yunseong at that point. Also Chacha's popularity was mostly early PDX. His popularity was kind of losing steam in the end.
For Hangyul, he was not really in the top ranks throughout the show so it would be hard to be included in the debuting team. All the rest were really popular. Also MBK were called for questioning about their involvement in the bribery in PD48. They got away then so who is to say they won't try again? MSnake might have also seen how popular he was with internationals so they put him in. I'd like to think he was legit though. Hangyul had a lot of noona fans and those fans had money to vote unlike the canteen fans. Dohyon was always in debut ranks plus he had a lot of loaded noona fans so he was sure to debut imo.
As for Dongpyo, he was an MNET pick. If you followed PD Note, the trainees initially voted for the center (my gut tells me it was Sihoon) but PD Ahn changed it all of a sudden because they wanted a different center to represent the show. Then we now had Dongpyo as center. Dongpyo's popularity was going down through the season so he might have been out of debut line. But since PD Ahn already rigged him before, why not again? They can also continue that the-pick-me-center-always-debuts scenario.
And my hottest take. I would.not be surprised if Wooseok actually won as center. Yohan was MNET's center pick from the start and they did every single good edit for him. No one else would have been center imo. This was obvious by episode 2. For Wooseok, they did all these nasty edits hoping for his popularity to drop. Unlike Daniel vs Jihoon where the difference in popularity could be spotted, Yohan and Wooseok were neck and neck. We'll never know who really won though.
The whole fiasco was awful for everyone. The ones who were rigged out lost a life-changing opportunity. The ones rigged in had to suffer the mental torture of wondering if they really made it. The ones who legitimately won lost a life-changing opportunity and also had to go through mental torture. MSnake, Starsh**, Woollim and all the other companies who toyed with these young boys are garbage.
@@cheshirecat5155 I actually think Hangyul is actually likely to have made it in naturally - he had a late surge, and before the rigging really probably have been the last trainee in besides the 11th. Dohyun’s position is a bit more precarious - he may have been up in the rankings but his position was a lot like Minkyu for me; good, but when it comes to final voting I wouldn’t really be surprised if he got passed up at the bell. I’d argue too that Dongpyo also made it but be low; he was on the line but likely. Minhee is unfortunately pretty obvious in place of Jungmo, and Junho was of about equal popularity as the rest of the trainees ranked 12-20. Jinhyuk being removed was obviously the red flag that something was up lmao. Either way, well really never know given that they’re only releasing the names of the trainees who were rigged out. For all of them it was such a shame, and MNET really needed to deal with more ramifications, as well as the companies who worked to rig in their trainees.
@@cheshirecat5155 I also think that Minkyu would've probably be the X and Eunsang is somewhere between 9-10th place because Minkyu's ranking was very similar to Kaeun's (PD48) his rankings were 1/3/2/2/3 and his lowest dip was 10th place and came up 5th place in the 11th episode which is also similar to Kaeun whose lowest dip was in 8th place and later rose back to 5th place.

All of this is just conjecture based on the only info that we have, which is the names and places of those who were rigged out, which, logically, would imply that those who are currently in their places were moved up in the ranking. Putting those who were rigged out back in and bumping people down is the only possible logical order based on what we know.
Popularity is not a question lmao, especially since you can't argue that any members of X1 are actually that popular right now in the industry with their current groups. There's always a black sheep in these shows anyway; by your logic, based on 'popularity', Minkyu should've been in X1 as well! However, we now know that he wasn't rigged out of the lineup, he just didn't have the votes in the end to make the pre-rigged lineup either. There's a perfectly good and logical chance that Hangyul made X1 through his own merit - we will just literally never know who was actually rigged in since that information will never be released. Try thinking sometime, it's pretty fun!

Not knowing a thing about them in advance I thought he was just the perfect for the center. I know how dirty the work was done to exclude some members but his videos was the most liked by the audience so in a sense he deserved it.
