I was there with my husband on 2020. I love the night food market. The black sticky rice is one of my favorite and it wrapped with rice paper ( yes, it’s eatable) Thanks for helping out the vendors ❤
Not sure how I got here….but very respectful younguns…even when they don’t like it…they still don’t complain and give the locals benefit of the doubt. I’ll check out more videos.
I haven’t been down to Can Tho yet. Been to Vietnam like 3 times so far with August being my fourth. My wife and I both have traveled to Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Saigon and this year plan on going to Da Nang. We always up visiting Da Lat for the night market there and all the grilled rice paper snacks.
Can Tho is now on my list also. Her laughter is contagious while watching you eating the wrap. You make a great team. Reminds me of my first tamale on the Navaho reservation and biting into the corn husk wrapper. Native Grandma laughed her ass off.
I think this is one of my favorite vlog of you. I already fell in love in your first minutes! I adore a city where there's a clean, spacious, green riverside/riverwalk. Wait for me (again), Vietnam! We have unfinished business.
Love this video. You guys should think of working together , just a thought. I really enjoy ALL your videos. Please keep up the great content. You BOTH rock!!! Great chemistry.
@davidkhai gee david, thanks for easing my curiousity... i have watched quite a lot of your vlogs, especially those within various cities in vietnam with various cuisines, and enjoyed them.. I m an overseas chinese, speak dialect of teochew, also a 6-8 tonal language, and have been self studying the chinese characters for quite awhile now. While i was doing tertiary educations makes lots of vietnamese friends too. Always enjoy the pho.... but now since watching your videos, i think i will also like banh my, sandwiches.... Besides trying to learn japanese and korean....next i will try to learn vietnamese too.
Bạn nữ ngây thơ kia hình như vẫn chưa hiểu thế nào về ẩm thực Việt Nam. Cứ ngửi ngửi kiểu rất thận trọng. Nhưng xin lỗi bạn xét về ẩm thực Việt Nam thuộc nước hàng đầu thế giới rồi. Có vẻ bạn thận trọng hơi quá rồi. 😂😂😂
Wait, I don't get it. You go around speaking fluent Vietnamese, even haggling at Saigon Square, yet you can't properly pronounce the name of a major city? I enjoy the content but this is a head scratcher.

The burgundy colored fruit is called "chum ruot" or "preserved gooseberry". 😊

Really appreciate your video of Can Tho. You gave a view that I haven’t seen in other vlogs.

Trust me, your stomach is stronger with all of the seed oils you’re being fed in America 😭
Hi David, I wanted to know where is Uncle's Wooden Gift Shop at? I love how he did the wood piece and I am planning to go to Vietnam few more weeks.
Chợ đêm Ninh Kiều - he’s just along the night market along this street

Cần Thơ quê tôi ❤
it's called 'Non La' or conical hat in English
Hi David Khai love your videos! Can you ask Wendy where she got her bag from?
Awesome to hear! Bag is from Uniqlo
Thank you
Great video brother ❤
Hi David, love watching your videos. Can you tell me how you got to Can Tho from Saigon? Thanks
Took a bus, I use 12go to find the forms of transport
However gets more busier in Ninh Kieu as it gets darker
its not tissue its made from rice its used quite often used as a wrapper
David, do you know where Wendy purchased her shirt? Also, where do you recommend buying clothing in Saigon?
Not sure where she bought it. Fake market clothing then ben thanh or saigon square is always good. Just some bargaining will be needed
I was there 4 years ago and it was way more busier than in your video. Maybe it's the wrong day or time.
I think we we’re then in off season, the height of summer so probably quieter
The green cube is melon dew
David, how did you get to Can Tho from Saigon City ???. Did you go by car or train ??. Max. Queensland.
From memory we caught a bus down/mini van limo
Hello David. May I ask how far is this place in District 1?
It’s about a 3 hour ride from District 1 to Can Tho
What camera u guys using?
Go Pro Hero 10
Stoked to see my rat friend again

Hey mate did you did you get any runs eating street food? Food are delicious but im scared of getting diarrhea lol.
Nothing ever bad or sick in my last 10 months of travel, but if you’re not use to street food then you’ll probably get it at least once
I think you’re saying Can Tho incorrectly? Is it, Cần Thơ? Not criticizing, just trying to figure out where you are. Lol
Yeh definitely am!
Chu`m ruot, i don't think it has in dictionary.
