Thanks for the informative video. I think that's what's wrong with my fuel pump. It did the same thing your car did. Nice job with the step by step process.
Hey bro great video but i have the problem with my 2002 ser sentra but idk has the same problem but it was brand new the fuel pump now doesn't want to start what would recommend me to do with it?thank you
Grate video, but I'm just curious if you had a fule leek because the Orings in side in the connection housing are usually cracked because Rubber just doesn't last that long. Just about everything plastic underneath my 2006 is cracking. I have to do the same job, and I'm definitely gonna do it myself based on your video. You made it look easy, but I noticed there were some cuts in editing that concerned me on pulling everything out Because the last time I tried to do a pump removal on a Mini Cooper The pump housing actually had to be screwed in Without any bolts like the Nissan has which makes it so much easier, at least that's what I hoping. I never want to ever have to put on a fuel pump for a Mini Cooper ever again. I still have not been able to take the top off my Mini Cooper fuel pump housing... LOL I really would love to see how you change a starter on this particular car if you have a video please let me know I look forward to seeing it. Anyway keep up the good work you got a new follow
I just replaced the fuel pump in my 2005 Sentra 1.8S Thinking that was the reason why it would not start, but still not getting any fuel to the engine. It won't prime when I turn the key, there is no pressure in the line, nothing is getting to the engine. Only other thing I can think of is the Fuel relay, but having trouble locating that. I already ruled out the fuses. It ran fine until one morning when I went to start it, and hasn't ran since. ANY info helps thanks!
Hey Wings thanks for the comment. The fuel pump relay is located in the left drivers side kick panel. left of the brake pedal near the door almost. at 2:35 i show its position and how to test it. Let me know if this helps. Thanks
Travis burgner The cam sensor does not control the fuel pump. It controls injector pulse. when the cam position turns to a notch in the tone ring it sets off the injector accordingly.
The fuel pump relay was the issue, I put my old pump back in and heard it whine when I turned the key. But car still isn't starting. Looks like it's not pressurizing. I should also mention I live in a rather cold place, and the car has been sitting for a couple weeks, though I doubt the line is frozen. The fuel pump access needs to be completely air tight in order for the fuel system to prime right? I can''t think of anything else. Any thoughts?
Just changed that, try to start car it wasn't starting sprayed some starting fluid had to press gas started. Now it's shacking even inside like it's about to cut off again. What's the problem should I look for?
Shadow X No theres no filter inside. The fuel filter for these cars is in the engine bay. The screen is there so that the pump doesnt pick up anything like dirt from the tank.
I had a bad fuel pump in my 2003 spec v and I just got a used pump from a junkyard and it works but for some reason the 2003 spec v and the 2001 gxe have different fuel pumps my old pump only had 1 line the gxe has two do you think that are compatible and what is the purpose of the second line on the pump because the spec v only has one line
Art Claypoole will it drive around or stall also while driving. Pump is probably bad. Or ignition system problem. When the Vehicle stalls find out if fuel pressure is low or if pump activates. Also check for spark when stalled.
I'm having same problem. I just did the crank sensor and still won't start. How can I check for spark? Can I take coil off and spark plug out and reconnect spark plug out of the engine to check for spark? Also I'm beginning to think it's the immobilizer ?? Please help!!!
@@internetstress You can Check for spark by taking off the spark plug wire, take the plug out and put it in the wire again, lay the plug with the wire connected on any metal on the engine. You will now have someone crank the engine over. You should see a spark. The security light would stay on when cranking if its the immobilizer

Was having a very same problem on my 99 altime all the wires and relays were the same! Thanks so much really helpful. Now i need to replace the pump.

One more thing, The pump on my 05 only has a single fuel line connection.
Very good I look

where's the Pressure Regulator ? 2005 has the PR inside fuel pump housing
Is there any filter inside that plastic casing...all is see is a screen?Maybe i should put an in line filter?

My cooling fan I haven't herd them working in a 04 Nissan Sentra trala, if you can do a video about that
Thanks very nice!!
Trying to change my fuel pump. Gas keeps seeping out of those to white prongs. Any suggestions
The o rings inside the connectors are probably bad. Either that or the connectors are not in all the way
Good
Can push them in the last part

05 Nissan sentra 1.8 idles for 20 minuets than it stalls

Well, I'm try it.
Master slave
New fuel pump has been put in. Yet I'm back at square one. I'm at my wits in with this car!!! Car starts when it wants. Pls HELP!!!!!!
When its running, is the check engine light on? You need to have some one scan for codes. It probably didnt need a fuel pump.
@@mikethomas929 no check engine light was notp04m
on. When I turn it sometimes I hear a sound like compressed air coming from the back of the car

Too many steps... all you needed to do is test the fuel pressure, and it would tell you everything without breaking down 50% of your car.
So, make a video and do it better!
Your information is good but your sound is not
No one else has complained about the sound and the video has over 50 thousand views maybe it's your device.
