Great information. One thing i don't understand, though, is the dishwasher placement. You can't stand at the sink with the dishwasher open, so you'd have to set the dishes on the counter, then move to the other side of the dishwasher to put them in. That doesn't make any sense to me.
Thank you so much for doing this comprehensive video of kitchen remodeling. I don’t know if I may have missed it, but I would love to see a similar in-depth video on bathrooms. I so appreciate your expertise and your ability to share it so clearly and methodically!
I would also love a video on costs of a bathroom as well as windows and floors. I really appreciate the costs breakdown. I realize that costs vary depending on the location but it’s very helpful to have some baseline.
Love your video…just purchase house for my in laws and it has the same size old kitchen we wanted to update it before they move in… I love your idea of moving the kitchen to other side and makes the space look way open.👍
Thank you so much for being straightforward about the prices. May I ask the location of the house, and if these prices vary much in different parts of the country? Sorry, I looked at your page and see that you’re in the SF Bay Area. I’m surprised that the costs were so low, as all you hear is how much things cost there. Take care.
I'm currently working on a property that I'm turning into a rental that has old pine cabinets with the wall oven and cooktop with a vent on top. It's not visually pleasing but the GE profile appliances are in great shape. Since it's a rental the mentality is far different than flipping but it's tough for me mentality to align myself to this part of REI. Do you have any advice?
I always eagerly await your videos and truly like just about everything you do. However, this particular remodel left me absolutely cold. Swapping the dining area with the kitchen was visually attractive, however, in my opinion it was a complete miscalculation. Doing this eliminated sorely needed cabinetry and shrunk the kitchen making it virtually useless. You are an exceptional young woman with good instints but honestly do you see 2 people working in that tiny kitchen? Being familiar with that old style galley kitchen you could have done so much more without incurring unnecessary costs. Open shelving is nice but woefully impractical in miniscule kitchen such as this one. Of course this home is already sold but perhaps this one is worth a second thought.
Maybe it hasn't been delivered yet? I was supposed to receive a dryer from Best Buy, but they blew off my delivery & never showed!! I was so pissed I cancelled the order & demanded my money back plus the stupid membership and extra they had the nerve to charge me since they claimed I would be "out of area", an excuse to get even more money out of costumers. I don't know if this is the case here, but I thought I'd throw that possibility out there that it's can be difficult to get not only services/contractors these days, but goods delivered and on time because we're not living in a disciplined, professional or reliably ethical world anymore, since liberalism and all the ridiculous "excuses" came along to decline our society. Maybe that's the case here, and she decided to film the video before the unit was due to arrive. Many refrigerators were out of stock for me, around a year and a half ago. Granted I was seeking an apt size, very specific to the measurements I needed, but the excuse at the time was freightliners were stranded and importing /transporting our goods had been allowed to turn into a mess. Another excuse for jacking up prices and you'll notice they have not gone down!

Your detail material and labor cost is very helpful. Great job!
Thank you for showing the bloopers lol speaking to a camera can be tough. I can totally relate 😂

Very helpful. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for breaking down the costs 😀.
this kitchen is sooooooo attractive and neat. I like that you were able to give it a modern decor.
Thank you! 😊

Thanks for sharing. Where do you get prefabricated kitchen and countertop?

Nice info. Thanks. Where do you buy your cabinets and tiles? Where do we get them on sale? Please share.
The bloopers 😅😅😅 I love it
Thank you for sharing! Very helpful.
The cabinet on the opposite side of the countertop next to the barstools is intriguing… can you elaborate more on that?

Thats a lot for small kitchen. What if we have to dem a bearing wall? Does 24k include labor?
Do cafe doors have a place in the home?
I think putting dishwasher next tot he sink and putting a small island would be better.
It looks nice but I feel like the space between the oven and that counter is too tight for baking.
That kitchen space is unfortunately tight - hence the video title… We tried our best to make it work.
Seems odd you wouldn’t put in a refrigerator
Most flips don't. The new homeowner would just pick out their own.
Can you give us information of your contractor ?
I am a bit confused. So, you provide the kitchen with a stove and microwave but you don't provide it with a refrigerator. Why is that?

A lot of houses do not come with a refrigerator, specially new construction. I also rarely see flips that include a refrigerator
You could have saved tons of money by doing small things yourself
Why don’t you just have bestbuy install appliances way less expensive
Ah So
