The director of Platoon was a combat infantryman in the Vietnam war so your comment is dumb. Chuck Norris movies are corny AF, I hope you're being sarcastic.
If Chuck Norris was in Vietnam, he wouldn't have to worry about getting exposed to agent orange. Agent orange needs to worry about getting exposed to chuck Norris
it's a true 80's action fest with all the over the top excess you'd expect from a 80's action movie. It's time to put your feet up, put your brain in neutral and just enjoy the movie for what it is. Just a cracking action film. And as the tag line for the movie says . . "Good on you Chuck.
The ending with the grenades was when we have seen enough and wanted to lash out for the last time permanently. Hate the people who made you suffer so much for no reason than office politics and poking at you till you crack.
02:32-02:40 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, "See how easy that is", "You got this bro!", "I know right, I'm awesome!" and just like that the Yank died, while giving a thumbs up in the middle of a warzone! 😂🤣
It's must been difficult to shoot the American soldiers scene escaping from the Vietnamese soldiers many times scenes like the helicopter and the river
That’s because they’re Philippine Air Force UH-1s on loan and painted in US Army markings. Even that seems incorrect as it should have been low visibility markings.
@@FN_FAL_4_ever I watsched this movie back in the 80th! Butt if you wanna be a professional, you must be like a Mell Gibson (colonel Hall Moore) in the "We were soldiers"!
@@FN_FAL_4_ever May be you not understand! Chuck Norris plauing fictional hero with a hippi long hair (impossible at war in the Vietnam jungle) Butt Colonel Hall Moore are real soldier in the real bloody battle on the Ja Drang valley!
Vietnam has chuck Norris flashbacks
I miss my dad everytime I watch this movie
Thank you for uploading this!
This scene alone is a better representation of the war than either Platoon and Apocalypse Now

@@xXSgtWolfXx Batman Returns
I would say this scene and the opening scene to Uncommon Valor. They stick with you for life.
I love this movie and Chuck Norris but come on now, lol.
If Chuck Norris was in Vietnam. He would have won the war single handedly
He was he was real soldiers
Jajajaja
This only happens in the movies. One bullet can kill a person.
If Chuck Norris was in Vietnam, he wouldn't have to worry about getting exposed to agent orange. Agent orange needs to worry about getting exposed to chuck Norris
He carried the entire team.
Chuck's brother died in Firebase Ripcord 1970
This is so awesome.
The US lost the Vietnam when Chuck Norris went on RnR.
That depends if this was before the 1968 Tet Offensive.

The hip fire accuracy tho
The landing zone evacuates from chuck norris
You know what would have made this scene even more macho? Chuck Norris riding a shark into an active volcano with TNT strapped into him.
Obviously filmed in the Philippines instead of the Indian Dunes Ranch.
0:58 why the NVA and VC aways shown dying clumsily? Smh
Take a good look. Can anyone tell me the kind of shoulder straps he's using??? They're not GI!

It was just a nightmare as it turned out for COL. Braddock.
helicopter...an angel coming from heaven to save souls...chuck norris lost his brother during this war that's why he made this film..
Dans la guerre du Vietnam il n'y a pas la M16. Avec la lance grenade M249 qui porte chuck nouris

3:33 the Americans are being cut to pieces. My countrymen, my dad fought there.

03:14 I still can’t figure out how the Viet Cong got a hold of an M-60 machine gun. I couldn’t find historical records of it.
Chuck Norris single-handedly beat Vietnam
I’m not sure if Vietnam veterans would agree with that. If we had such fellas it would have been over by 1965-1966.
Vietnam era huey's didn't have the anti-wire strike system.

I noticed that only chuck Norris didn't wear helmet
With COL. Braddock he doesn’t need a helmet.
Colonel Braddock was Special Forces and he didn’t need a helmet.
There will be hundreds of dead bullets if they hit chuck Norris
Him and John kreese kicked the Vietcong's ass's
