A Challenger EV will not happen. People are souring on EV's, Ford and GM are losing their shirts on EV's, nope, not going to happen.

Electric solar, wind, Hydro and Nuclear generated power are the only alternatives.

You can not use the title muscle car on an EV
You can easily get 1,000hp from electricity instad of using gas.
You can even get all the horse power in a second when pushing the pedal.
What you can´t do is to put an annoying and stupid exhaust sound like a Dyson vaccum cleaner simulating you have a combustion engine behind the roof.

There is also going to be a hurricane straight 6 engine with turbos hopefully dodge will build a dohc V8 to compete with the ford mustang 5.0 liter V8 and the Chevrolet Corvette dohc 5.5 litwr V8.

That price is pocket change, that is what I paid for the original limited edition 2008 would never buy that crap, battery weighs 1000-2000+lbs,vs a regular battery weighing in at 10-50lbs. Good luck changing that when it craps out in 5 years or less. Have fun paying 2000 to 20000 bucks for a new battery. Everyone bitched about AGM battery being only 300 enjoy inflation:)

Watch for the EV to have 'simulated exhausts. Basically, circles of light like some of these images show. My guess is they're going to reference the ICE as much as possible. I just wonder how they're going to simulate the roar of a HEMI. Good luck with that, Dodge!
