To clarify for all of you coming from the news article: Yes, I know much of the info I’ve mentioned in these Barbara Lowe videos is outdated to say the least. You don’t have to remind me and post a disgruntled comment down here, I was only relaying the facts and info we knew at the time.
For those not in the know, recently more info has come to light on the Barbara Lowe situation, which you can read about right here (I highly recommend it):
    www.theringer.com/tv/2023/5/2/23705821/jeopardy-lost-tapes-barbara-lowe-mystery-champion
Long story short: She was found and contacted by The Ringer, who discovered her real name and interviewed her about the experience on the show. Essentially much of the initial negative aura surrounding her appearance on J! was pretty overblown by most accounts, and any negative connotations were either the fault of the show itself or other sources (the same sources I had to rely on to make these videos).
I don’t really feel like making a whole other video about this, considering The Ringer already did a good job covering all the bases and ending the stigma around Barbara Lowe. This will be my last statement on this matter, so just remember to think before you speak.
    Have a good day…

Meh TBH, some of the stuff still seems fishy to me and I highly doubt they withheld her opinions JUST because of a stomach bug, especially since I'm sure she's far from the only contestant who's experienced such a thing in the 40 years Jeopardy has been taping episodes.
I don't know if we'll ever figure out the whole truth behind the matter considering how long ago Lowe's episodes were and the fact that both Harry Eisenberg and Alex Trebek are deceased now and thus can't share their own side of the story, but I personally still am a bit skeptical regarding Lowe's story and I think people need to be careful about just blindly believing her based off of one article and her merely sharing her version of events, especially since it's easy to forgive someone and act like they were the victim in a situation many years after the fact.

Barbara Lowe in a new article from Claire McNear has apparently come out and gave her side of the story and had some pretty rude things to say about Trebek and Eisenberg. That article may be worth looking into for a future video.

Thanks for the videos. I watched the 1st video. So the bottom line, she used a false name and argued a question??

Not only that, she faked her whole identity to get on various game shows against ABC’s practices, and sued to get the money back once they found out.

Let me guess, you're here after that article aren't you?
Keep in mind that at the end of the day it is still merely her side of the story and both Trebek and Eisenberg are dead and as a result can't say anything about it, so we don't know if she's being 100% truthful or if there's some details she's leaving out or that we simply don't know, especially since a lot of the people involved in Jeopardy at the time are either no longer around to confirm or deny events or have been off the show for decades. For all we know that article could just be a total hit piece designed to crap all over two deceased men who can't defend themselves.
And even if it's true she had a massive stomach bug, I can't imagine Lowe would've been the ONLY instance in a show's nearly 40-year long career in which they had to pause taping for a bit due to stomach issues, so the idea that she was treated terribly because of that doesn't really seem credible to me. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding some details but to me Lowe's take on the whole situation doesn't really seem reliable and I'm inclined to believe there's still a lot more to the story that we don't know and likely will never know since it was too long ago.
