In the heart of the silent sphere, I drift,
Enter ancient steel that contorts and twists,
With a hollow sun lying at the core,
Collapsing into the abyss, ready to devour more.
Its edges shimmer, trembling cold,
An orb of secrets, with mysteries old,
As hands of gravity stretch and fold,
It calls me deeper into its hold.
In the cradle of a dying star,
It swallowed me whole, flung me afar,
Down a blackened throat, beyond the known,
Into a backwards realm, tossed and thrown.
Watch the sphere shatter, drawn inward tight,
Threads of reality blur and fight,
Pulled beyond light, into realms unseen,
Where suns grow young, and planets scream.
Sentient orbs with voices so vast,
An ancient choir singing into the past
Yet their songs only shrink and fade,
As time unravels, their youth is betrayed.
Creatures claw at the bounds of age,
Hands trembling in a futile rage,
They slow the pulse, but can’t contain,
The reverse of all, the fall of names.
In the cradle of a reborn star,
Winds of change tearing worlds apart,
The grasp of light, in vain defied,
As cosmos shakes to what it hides.
Back to the dawn before the blaze,
Before atoms found their place and phase,
In darkness whole, dark voids collide,
To the whispers of all that died.
Yet in this end, a seed still breathes,
A spark that lies, unseen, beneath
To rise again, to forge the skies,
In another's breath, in another’s guise.
So here I drift, a shadow, unbound,
