The red TJ in the beginning has a Dana 35 c-clip axle. He broke a shaft, and the axle walked out of the housing. Very common. As always, great video.

In that first clip is when the C clip inside the differential falls apart or falls out and allows the axle to slide through the axle tube the same thing happened on my truck there’s usually there is a spring to hold the axles in position so that the clip does not fall out but if you completely destroy your differential this is what happens
