Great video man! Thanks for sharing your experience. As someone who hikes regularly in bavarian alps, I can say that Watzmann is for experienced mountaineers only, its not by any definition intermediate and Alpspitze is not at all beginner level mountain. If you meant that Alpspitze is beginner level via ferrata then yes it is but not a beginner level hike, far from it. I dont know about your mountaineering experience but I would like to say you might be under apperciating the hardness/dangers involved with these mountains. Just sharing this to make sure that people dont underestimate these mountains and a lot of people get hurt in Watzmmann and similar mountains. I hope you understand my feedback and dont take it as a negative comment. Keep up the good work!
I am a fan of your videos! Wow The adrenaline, I do mountains too! I am new in Germany, and I because of you I know a lot of places to explore and to climb! Thank you so much!!
The map shown in the video is a very good guide. There are at least 4 Via Ferrata: "Röthsteig" (easy; at the end of the "Obersee"), "Rinnkendlsteig" (more difficult; starting in "St. Bartholomä" at Königssee), "Grünsteinsteig" (3 difficulty levels including very difficult; at Königssee). These 3 have a climbing height of about 400 meters and end at about 1300-1400 meter. And there is "Hochthronsteig" (difficult; about 6km in the north of Berchtesgaden).
Thanks for watching! Not an eagle. But looks like one right :D. The bird that you see at 5:00 you can also see again at 5:50. They are called Alpine chough. They breed in high mountains. Most of the time they come very close to you as they are so accustomed to climbers. Really awesome birds!
Jellis Vaes Nice video and great shots! But for next time you should know, that it’s forbidden to fly a drone in the national park of Berchtesgaden. It can cost up to 2000€ 😅
