Why would that surprise you? In the show chuck never wrote about the angels or anything. The actual series was supposed to end with Sam going to hell and Dean living a normal happy ending life. This obviously changed with the ratings. Now we're 2 episodes into season 13
The books stopped when Dean went to Hell at the end of season 3. At that point the angels and Castiel hadn't been introduced. In this ep the stories could continue because of funding.
the Hook Man or the German guy had a good point!he wasn't talking about liking books or the story,or disliking them!back when Becky was freaking annoying!
