He's feisty! Question about biting: When a dog is starting to get their adult teeth, do they tend to be a little less bitey when playing? Mine is right at the age where she's losing her baby teeth and while she hasn't been one to go crazy chomping and tugging on a toy, she seems to be a bit less inclined to do so now. I couldn't handle her being quite the fireball Rambo II is since she's a pet and future hiking/adventure companion, so it's fine that she's not big on chewing. Just wondering if you've ever noticed that to be the case. She's a Mal/GSD cross.
Yes, it can be discouraged to do bitework with teething dogs since they’re mouths are so sore and may even hurt a bit. They are looking to sooth the pain not really rip at their teeth
@@bricesicle I figured that was probably the issue, particularly since I found one of her baby teeth after we'd been playing a bit and she was being a little stand-offish about really biting and tugging on her toy. I'm not too worried about since, like I said, she just a pet and not being trained for protection or any of the biting sports. It is funny hearing people talk about how bitey Mals and to an extent GSDs are while mine hasn't been particularly mouthy up to this point (21 weeks). Thanks for the answer.
R2 is one sturdy looking dude…he seems thicker than others you’ve raised, nice!! It would be a great series to watch you raise/train this homegrown fellow.
What little cutie! He does have quite the drive. Just curious … what happened to the first female of that litter? She did the best out of the litter, when you were testing them!
To add to my earlier comment…you can’t let anyone else ruin this pup. You know how to make him great!!!!
You’re right Haz! He’s a keeper. Rambo II has my vote.
That is a *nice* puppy! I'd keep him if I were you!
He really seems like he has the best of both his parents!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Rambo the second. He deserves a fancy name. What a potential monster!
