Shrimp sauce-
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp sugar, more if you like it sweet
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsps water

Cuz you’re the ultimate MVP, and we love you for it! I’m adopted and got a DNA kit for Christmas, found out I’m 25% Scottish so now, just like Brooke doesn’t know what to do with her hands I feel like I don’t know what to do with this awesome information, should I learn the accent? I mean idk if I could ever pull it off, my Texas accent is pretty twangy (I don’t hear it lol) according to my grandson who accused me of talking like a “cow girl” lol, I’m a city girl whose only ridden a horse a few times!!!

I was homeless for nearly three years, living in a tent. I did eat a lot from DT. Bought a lot that had more than one serving such as mashed potatoes, soup mixes. I did buy some frozen food. No microwave needed- just a hot pan heated over a sterno or butane stove on low.
I hope you're housed and in a better situation now. I admire your "survival" instinct. I've never been un-housed but close. It is scary.

I love those spring rolls are the bomb every time I go to a dollar tree I check to see if they have those.
I put those in the air fryer. Then warm up pre-made rice to go with it.
I love them too lol. Occasionally will grab a package and eat for lunch.
I haven't been able to find them for years!! But I used to get a bunch of them at a time, maybe everyone else started doing the same and I've just been out of luck lol

Btw, I’m home for 2 months after having foot surgery, and all I can do is watch tv. (Hella not fond of my crutches, especially in a 2 story). I laughed my butt off at this video. I REALLY needed this today! Thanks Brooke and cute family!

The GoldenKrust Mild Beef Patty is AMAZING! I lived in NY where the GoldenKrust stores are located and they taste exactly like the stores serve them. If you like Jamaican food, you will love these.
I love them. I use a little Chipotle Tabasco sauce on mine. I've even bought them at Sam's.
I cook them In the air fryer. Not in microwave.

Those big burritos are good if you throw them in the oven with some enchilada sauce and shredded cheese on top. Great for an easy family meal if you don't feel like cooking a big meal.

I buy the big bags of beef & bean burritos at Walmart, put in a 9x13 casserole dish, pour 28oz. red or green enchilada sauce over top, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, cover with foil, bake @ 350°F for 30 min. Then uncover & bake another 15 min or until the cheese is a little bit brown. Voilà! Lazy Enchiladas!

I microwave the big burrito for half the time, then put it in the air fryer for a bit to get some crisp on the outside, mmmmmm The spring rolls are delicious, my son loves them.😊

So basically, the dollar tree freezer section tastes like my childhood! 😂 lol I love it!
Dollar tree meals are really expensive when you consider what you get. I bought a steak there once. I was so excited as I can't normally afford steak on my tiny social security check. When I got home and opened the package, it was a very thin piece of shaved steak folded over a few times. Basically luncheon meat. I once saw a youtuber make a dollar tree Thanksgiving dinner. It costs her 75 dollars! And she thought it was a bargain. And it was turkey luncheon meat ( sandwich meat) she used. You can buy a whole turkey on sale for about 8 bucks. The rest is cheap for sides when made from scratch. So, at a regular store for turkey and sides would be about 20-25 dollars. Dollar tree is good for buying cleaning supplies etc, but not food.

we don't have a dollar tree close but plan to drive the 50 miles one way cause you sold us on the egg rolls and spring rolls. Thanks for doing all your videos. We love them and hubby has started taking an interest in cooking after 50+ years!

I was suprised by the flavor from the freezer section. The beef & bean burrito was actually good! The sausage was good too. Perfect size for 1 .. 😊
I am not a fan of any chicken turn over. However the beef Jamaican patties, those are my absolute favorite for my childhood. We had Puerto Rican, Jamaican, Dominican, Cuban in many other nationality neighbors when I lived in South Florida. And they taught this little Irish Polish girl how to eat good. Amazing food. And those Jamaican meat pies, although not as good as fresh, or a staple and delicious meal in my childhood.❤
That’s so funny. I grew up in south Florida too (broward) I’m also Irish and polish with a little bit of Russian thrown in and a friend took me to a little Jamaican shop with fresh Jamaican beef patties and I was blown away by how good they were. I’ve never tried any frozen I don’t think. It was the same when I discovered empanadas lol

@@cynrokincorrect. For some that don't have cars, can get to dollar tree easily as that's the closest shop for them to get to. I watch another channel similar to this and in her comments people have said just that.

I was in a situation for about 6 months where I had only a Family Dollar to buy food with $35 a week for 3 people. I had to walk almost two miles each way and I am disabled but I had no help, no car, no bus line, little money. Be grateful you dont have to live like that. There are still people out there who have to.
@@wandasellers3899 point taken. my comment was largely directed at the non-americans who read here who are always saying americans have terrible food. my intent was to say that this is not a common situation in america, to have only dollar tree for food. i understand that it happens but it is a very small number of people and not the norm.

I've bought the frozen patties, and they're great. You got a bad batch.
I think the patties were made badly. Also, they need to be cooked in oven or toaster oven to be flaky and a bit crispy.

Ironically today was the first time I've stepped into a Dollar Tree in a couple of years. We didn't find what we were looking for. I can see that I might not starve to death, but I don't know how so many you tubers find something to make a meal out of. And I realize this video just focused on snacks, not meals. It was a fun watch.

Spring rolls are the bomb! I could eat the whole tray cause they're small & only 10 ct. But I restrain myself to 5 & a salad. 👍 My store just doesn't carry them anymore 😭
I love McRibs. I don’t get them every time they come out, but I do like them sometimes I tell him to leave the fresh onion off and I just like him with the dill pickle, but I like them.
The spring rolls are great. I use them a lot for parties, and they’re the first thing to run out.
Yah, my DT stopped carrying them and now sells a $5 bag of egg rolls instead. I have searched the internet for a source from which to buy those spring rolls with no success. I need them, they're one of my favorite foods. I'm really sad about the spring rolls being gone.

Country ham is extremely salty, nothing you would want to eat by itself, Rebecca that does the dollar tree meal's she really loves the spring rolls and the pot stickers.
Fellow Rebecca fan here! She says she rinses meat she gets from the dollar tree before cooking. I know she does with the beef patties and I think I remember her doing it with the country ham too, but I might be mistaken.
The Dollar Tree lemon sherbet is awesome....the ice creams and flavored ice are like somewhat flavored milk and water.

I personally love the Jamaican patties. But we cook them in the airfryer so they are crispy on the outside. Also I really like Jamaican food 🙃🙃 we also put the spring rolls in the airfryer too.
