I just go through a participating retailer and get the actual physical ticket. I’m more old school as far as that goes but I’ve had smaller wins of $4 and $7 from Powerball, $2 from Mega Millions, and a time where I won consecutive free tickets for Hoosier Lotto (Indiana’s state lottery) which in that case I won a free ticket to then win another free one but I still count my blessings no matter what.

When you win millions in lottery. Not everyone needs to know. Give first fruits unto God. Invest in Real Estate, Gold, stocks, etc. Keep your money in different banks, don't put all your eggs in 1 basket. Give to the poor & donate don't be stingy! Get a lawyer & financial advisors. The bible says in Proverbs 11:14 " Where the is no council people fall, but in the multitude of counsellors, there is safety". God bless!
crazy that a bank can do that to someone and get away with it and also shows u should trust everything u have in just one place but u should for sure use a bank for some maybe for a savings but if u are going to invest is better ways to do that and letting the bank do it for u most likely isnt the best idea it would be like handing all your money to your gambling best friend and him telling u he is going to double it
The problem also is the bank invested all the money he gave them into one investment. Which is stupidity. Especially when you have millions to invest. Everyone should know to invest in different projects spread your assets out into different opportunities.
Its the couple own fault that they missed out on the lottery! When I play online I make sure I get the email confirming my purchase and check my online account to make sure the ticket is there!
Exactly. I buy online all the time and I’ve won. Small prizes of course, but no more than $100 in a single game. The tickets show you as the owner and the winning numbers. It’s good to buy from a licensed lotto system online. If you don’t receive a confirmation that the actual ticket has been purchased, it’s not yours.
My mom played the same numbers every week on powerball when I was little. She got in an accident with a semi truck and has to spend a week in bed in the hospital. That week her numbers hit.
When is the wisest time to celebrate winning a lottery jackpot? When you find out that your ticket has the winning numbers? No. When you have completed the process of redeeming the ticket? No. When you receive the pay-out check? No. When you have deposited that pay-out check at your financial institution? No. The moment that those funds have cleared and are available? Yes. Your first plan upon realizing that your ticket has the winning numbers is to hire a Lawyer, an Accountant and a Financial Planner and plan for how best to go about redeeming the ticket. Always BE PRESENT!
There's a pit I like to call spend, spend, spend. It's a lot of fun to spend. But people loose track of the fact the pool of money, although vast, is finite. Keep pulling it out and it will eventually run out. The smart move is to not fall into the pit.
Winning the lottery can be a very dangerous thing even if you're good at handling your money. You'll have to spin some to protect the rest of it, Thieves will either break in to your house or hack your account or do whatever it takes to steal that money when they find out you have it.
HUH?!! How does the bank loss all your money on investments and then also drain your savings account to cover the loss? It's your money to begin with why drain the savings?
That girl with the heroin addicted boyfriend, she should have broken up with him. She spent 21 million on his bail money. She should have spent it on rehab instead.

The first thing l would do if l won the lottery is to worship God by giving out a large chunk of it. I will start a foundation to take care of orphans and widows. I will find churches. I will buy a modest house and a modest car. Then continue worshipping and praising God in the name of Jesus.

*The first couple who ALMOST won $228,000,000.00 in the lottery... Blessing in disguise folks... Blessing in disguise!*
How does anyone blow over a $180 million? The interest alone would be astronomical. Their ignorance is their downfall.
That's why you claim it anonymously, don't flaunt it, and don't trust anyone or any institution.
So many heart breaking stories in this video, but the first one with the British couple is so sad. They didn't make sure the funds were available in their account to purchase the ticket for the draw. What a loss, that was generational wealth
John really loved the idea of going into business with his friends...except they weren't really his friends...NO KIDDING🤔
*HUH?????*
Two things a 16-year-old doesn't have enough maturity to do: use lottery winnings responsibly, drive a car.
nah maybe just you damn near everyone start’s driving at around 16 some way earlier
Yes. And capacity to handle a ton of alcohol.
That's not true at all. I'm 32 years old, and I have never gotten into a car accident. I have been driving since 16 years old, and I was a better driver back then than most of these 30, 40 and 50 year olds that I see on the road now that can't even use a f**king turn signal.
I'll still take my chances on winning
It's really sad and hard to understand why those people with lots of money going bankrupt and even in debt..
Financial irresponsibility... It's a thing
But such enormous money and they invested in buying cars, houses, etc, they can sell them. Losing all the money is fine but going in debt is really hard to understand???
@@polbriana715those things have maintenance and taxes, over spending by using credit cards.. thqts how they go to bankrupt, even if they sold their house/car the dept isn't paid
spending too much or people trying to get a piece of their money...its scary
If you win the lottery and the bank offers to invest for you always say no. Dont ever let someone else handle your money.
3:18 the bank robbed him plain and simple
They transferred the money to a different account and invented a story about the investment crap
If you are going to survive paycheck after paycheck the rest of your life then if you win 1 million or more why would you invest it on anything??
Just keep living your life and don't invest on anything, you would never invest if you hadn't won then why would you now that you are a millionaire?? You don't need money anymore the rest of your life unless you are greedy
Just enjoy your life and spend your money wisely
Well spoken
2:45 Moral of this story, NEVER EVER INVEST WITH A BANK! They are in the business of taking your money! 🚫
Not everyone is ready for financial freedom.
Not everyone is ready for ANY kind of complete freedom. Because freedom without self-discipline is meaningless.
The bank has to notifiy you about any investment they can't sell your or anything,I can't believe that I always get statements every 3 months...
Looks like lottery money is cursed money. I still want to win it tho 😅
Hell nah 😂
It's gambling money that's why and gambling is a sin
That banking investment loss has to be bs! The bank would be sending you statements...🤷♀️
I buy online all the time and I’ve won. Small prizes of course, but no more than $100 in a single game (I got 3 white balls and the red Powerball). The tickets show you as the owner and the winning numbers. It’s good to make sure you’re buying from a licensed lotto system online and make sure your receive a ticket confirmation for your tickets.
You win on the lottery 😁 get a house first above all else.
Right. A permanent home [in a carefully chosen location] gives you stability and sanctuary.
Poor people don't know how to manage their money when they hit the big lottery.
I don’t ever purchase stocks offered by my local bank. I don’t care what they tell me about how safe that stock is.
Best 10 years he ever had though 😂.
Lead in his pencil got me❤😂😂
The first couple didn't won because they didn't had 3£ in their bank account for the automatic payment system
Immediately after checking their numbers they told everyone and posted on social media
I'd say it's probably better they didn't win based on previous things
Some people haven’t got enough sense to have money!!
1:15, they should have Sued for their owe'd money... The Lottery Server was where the error was, it wasnt a Error from their bank or the card, so Technically The Lotto Cost them the Winnings. and they could have gotten Some if not all of their winnings in return.
Lord Jesus Christ will show me how to use my lottery winnings.
Congratulations on your winnings, I pray that you use it wisely
Wealth can be a two-edged sword if not managed correctly.
*AT 11m. 20sec. I DON'T GET IT!!!!*
*He Bought GoLd/Lead Paint!!!! IT KiLLed Him!!!*
*WUT did he Paint????*
Any sword can harm you if you don't know how to wield it. But that kind of financial freedom is more like a three-foot chain saw.
Naw that bank wouldn’t did him dirty that’s a law suit ..the first couple should have still got the ticket ..it wasn’t their fault the system had an “ error”
I like how they were dancing they got them moves🤭🤣
Wait, didn't she get a notification that the ticket was bought!? Because if she did, she can sue the company.
Yeah right ?
fr...she got scammed
Dipping your hampton in gold paint is insane
Fools and money never have a great outcome !
Like the old saying goes, "a fool and his money are soon parted".
@@DaveWEarle you ain't never lied brother like the bible says!
What are the odds that the one time you get lucky there’s an issue with payment for something that normally happens?! I’d do an investigation on that if I was that young lady….
It was because there wasn't enough money in her account to process the automatic payment she set up.
Fishy
Winning big numbers when you don’t come from money will destroy most people.
#13 sounds illegal to me. What kinda bank was this?
Lol chase bank
When you win millions in lottery. Not everyone needs to know. Give first fruits unto God. Invest in Real Estate, Gold, stocks, etc. Keep your money in different banks, don't put all your eggs in 1 basket. Give to the poor & donate don't be stingy! Get a lawyer & financial advisors. The bible says in Proverbs 11:14 " Where the is no council people fall, but in the multitude of counsellors, there is safety". God bless!
Talk about really dying by the Touch of Midas for #6
I'm yelling at the TV telling them how their they squandered all that money!. I got tears in my eyes😭💀😂👏👏💯
So the bank stole that guy's money.
YES
The church moaned because she didn’t give them enough what was promised I wouldn’t go to that church
About 13 people that never deserved to win the lottery. Could've been me
All i want is to build my dream house but i dont even play lottery
crazy that a bank can do that to someone and get away with it and also shows u should trust everything u have in just one place but u should for sure use a bank for some maybe for a savings but if u are going to invest is better ways to do that and letting the bank do it for u most likely isnt the best idea it would be like handing all your money to your gambling best friend and him telling u he is going to double it
The problem also is the bank invested all the money he gave them into one investment.
Yes and you can have screenshoot of your ticket
Winner, winner, chicken dinner!
NOM, NOM, NOM !
And that's why i'll never put my money in a bank
Never
That bank screwed him
My mom played the same numbers every week on powerball when I was little. She got in an accident with a semi truck and has to spend a week in bed in the hospital. That week her numbers hit.
It's just not right when millionaires win the lottery I swear 😢
Never trust banks..
Can he just sue the bank for scammed him 😮
Wtf kind of bank was that??
When is the wisest time to celebrate winning a lottery jackpot?
When you find out that your ticket has the winning numbers? No.
When you have completed the process of redeeming the ticket? No.
When you receive the pay-out check? No.
When you have deposited that pay-out check at your financial institution? No.
The moment that those funds have cleared and are available? Yes.
Your first plan upon realizing that your ticket has the winning numbers is to hire a Lawyer, an Accountant and a Financial Planner and plan for how best to go about redeeming the ticket.
Always BE PRESENT!
Actually there is one more step after the funds have cleared and that's once you are far away from anyone who can influence your mind and feelings.
I don’t get why lottery winners go broke just live the same lifestyle maybe buy houses but not multi million dollar houses
*AT 11m. 20sec. I DON'T GET IT!!!!*
*He Bought GoLd/Lead Paint!!!! IT KiLLed Him!!!*
*WUT did he Paint????*
There's a pit I like to call spend, spend, spend. It's a lot of fun to spend. But people loose track of the fact the pool of money, although vast, is finite. Keep pulling it out and it will eventually run out. The smart move is to not fall into the pit.
U most likely will tho money changes u
If you are in a group buy, make copies of the tickets so everyone has a record of everything! 18:19
The bank tricked that lottery winner. They lied. Stole that man’s money
That girl with the heroin addicted boyfriend, she should have broken up with him. She spent 21 million on his bail money. She should have spent it on rehab instead.
Or a hitman.....👀
She should have saved that money and put it in a fund for her Disabled child, not that low life criminal. Heard he is locked up and tried to sue her for gifts she brought him. Hope she has got some good legal help and has gone somewhere he can't find her or her children.
I Like how some one not being able to buy a ticket is the worse thing to happen and not the people who lost friends and love ones
that's a great amount of money to start a small business
The first thing l would do if l won the lottery is to worship God by giving out a large chunk of it.
I will start a foundation to take care of orphans and widows. I will find churches. I will buy a modest house and a modest car. Then continue worshipping and praising God in the name of Jesus.
