- Sorry for the Delay, September is my busiest month, it's hard to find any time to edit!
Just wanted to talk about this album, I think it deserves a little more attention and I'm gonna be the one to push it some more.
Music in this video is "Monday Again" by DJ Grumble

Literally, one of the top greatest hiphop albums.
Dude! I recommended Jonathan 2 months ago on your gopher guts video! 🤣
I've listened to this album probably as much as impossible kid and spirit world field guide
Lol ok everyone but you is a bastard 😂
I found this album in a Edward McKay's a year ago. I bought the cd version of it instantly since Aesop was and is my favorite rapper. I got it for 6 dollars an absolute steal.
Holy shit. I'm so glad you got this album, 100% one of the greatest collabs I've ever heard. Rob and Sonic just tear these ethereal beats up.
And with what you said, Rob is one of the few that competes with aes.
Great vid
Dollywood is what introduced me to Aesop rock and it was my favorite and still my favorite song of all time, I'm now a huge Aesop nerd and its my go to artist
You take that back about 4am right now. I cant even handle that take lol
Jk but 4am is my fav hmm song. That beat is nasty af.
Rob’s solo shit is killer, too. So is Hail Mary Mallon’s other album “Are You Gonna Eat That”. On this album one of my favorite lines is the opening of Aes’ line in “Picture Day” where the chorus asks “Tell me whatcha been doin?” and Aes replies “Soldering an organ from the 70s, other hand harvesting the organs of my enemies.”
WHAT
If in pursuit of feeder fish he forgo any pleasantries
Bonfire eating into ornamental effigies
At a odd orbit, not a part of the public
Part of a mob forged in worn carnival justice
Trust, that's what a playboy be on
One quarter straight, no save point respawn
That entire verse goes stupidly hard and I love Aesops flow.
Got this bad boy on wax
Fantastic album, I agree. Love that you cover Aes stuff. Glad you included Jonathan, it was a great starting track. My top 2 were Krill, and The Soup. The chrous of Krill is what really hooked me (potentially on this entire album). The scratching on that is DOPE.
Personally, I really enjoyed Whales. Could have been because I was lucky enough to see this album tour live. Screaming "money money money mothafucka" with the crowd was too much fun.
Also, it's "Bestiary" :)
Would love to hear a review on one of KA's album. Any one will do but i'd recommend "honor killed the samurai" or "decendants of cain"
I'll check em out! Thanks for the recommendation!
If you haven't played the Lice joints, those should be your next Aestop. 3 x 5song projects.
Very fun. Very.
Both their albums are fire. Are you gonna eat that was dope and seemed mostly inspired by the groups namesake.
I saw Aes and Rob tour with DJ Abilities for this album, awesome show!!!
I love both of these guys. I started listening to Aesop Rock back when Labor Days came out. I only found out about Hail Mary Mallon and Rob's solo stuff about 2 years ago,but ive really been loving it.
They've also both collaborated with a duo called Dark Times Sunshine. If you get the chance, I recommend checking it out.
Forgotten how much i loved this album when it came out, Aes and Rob pair together so well. Disagree on skipping whales though, love the tongue in cheek braggadocio of it, poking fun atthe scene at the time.
If you would have asked, I'd have recommended it to you :V
Has one of the hardest bars in all of Aesop discography, and it's not even his -
''I'm a beast, my muhfukkin dog got a dog.'' - it even gave Aes pause.
Its cool seeing what your fav. And least favorite tracks are. My fave. Tracks are jonathon 4am and dollywood and kiln being one of my least favorite but by all means every track is so goood on this album. You should def. Hear there first HMM album to see how they grew into this one. GRUBSTAKE!
Grubstake was actually the only doing I knew before this album.

HUH WHAT
@shanemcdaniels you should also check pit the lice albums with homeboy sandman. Another guy on par with aesop
Agreed, this album is a banger front to back. I'd push back a lil on whales simply because it fits the 'lets just have fun with this album' vs take the project too serioisly you were mentioning. Given the ridiculous money worship shitnin mainstream hip-hop, i think this is a good way to take a jab at that sub genre. Good vid
“Money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money , money, money, money, money, Motherfucker.
I love how silly it is and I find myself singing this part to myself once every few weeks.
On the other hand I understand that it stands out from the rest and can get annoying on full album listens.
lmao. love this album!
