Combat Mission Fortress Italy is one of a series of realistic tactical combat simulations from www.battlefront.com. A wide variety of settings are available from world war 2 (Normandy, Market Garden, Sicily, Italy and the Eastern Front) to modern day fictional conflicts in Syria (Shock Force) and Ukraine (Black Sea)

An excellent video! Great narration, use of graphics, and camera work! A PvP battle is also particularly interesting to watch. 👍
My only criticism is with audio levels - the in-game sounds would some times drown out your narration. For example at 16:20, the intense firefight makes it almost impossible to hear what you're saying.

Good AAR, excellent prepatory analysis. Two of my friends had just completed this scenario as well and had much the same result, the Free French have a tough time of it no matter what but you did everything you could to make it all the tougher. Well done.

I had tried this scenario as France against the AI a few months back (also after a year or two gap from CM), did not at all realize my tanks could just go through the forest. Consequently, I tried moving them down the road only and was soundly trounced by the AI. How easily some things are forgotten. I think I'll give this scenario another go.
The AI can certainly present a challenge at times. Good luck if you try again, let us know how you get on

Stand your tanks off and just blast at buildings in surport of a few troops.

1:54 There is a mod available that fills-in the missing R2V equipment for JuJu's interface mod. I believe Ithikial created it with JuJu's permission.

@@MrSirDouble I got CMFI + GL 2 years ago and from time to time I play it (scenarios, singleplayer maps). North Africa and Italy are my favourite theatre of war, regarding to WW2.

Thanks for the compliment. This Scenario is from R2V, The Arverni Gambit which is a battle which comes with the DLC. I don't have any other specific R2V battles ongoing at the moment, I'll see what come up

Which Combat Mission -game do you personally prefer for multiplayer games?
I honestly don't have a preference and enjoy all the Western Front WW2 titles. I've just started with the Eastern Front (Red Thunder) and I'm still learning how to manage the Russians and their different tactical requirements. I have had some forays into Black Sea H2H but didn't enjoy the modern era as much.

What were the parameters on force selection?
This was a scenario from CMFI Rome to Victory. The forces were preselected
