I always wondered WHY he did it.
Rage, there is a strat that you basically activate the Shadow Fury abillity then you switch to the Livid Dagger and you alwaus backstab.
Please pay attention to that ty for reading this

Pro tip, use dungeons pots for normal things like edrags and slayers, they dont cost alot and give you a ton of sh*t for relaly cheap

Shadow fury has the same chances as the shadow assassin chestplate so it is pretty unlucky

The shadow fury is used for room clearing and you can actually switch to livid dagger after using the fury ability and get backstab hits
Edit: the phantom rod is also good for minibosses that do a lot of damage for example: f6 and f7 room bosses
The shadow fury is good for room clearing so u can swap from them both while in dungoeon

You can use the ability and switch to tge livid. This way you get the double damage from livid behind attacks and the ability of shadow

You should use the shadow fury to clear(with its ability) and as you teleport switch to the livid dagger for more damage. Also love the series keep it up :)

Fun fact: Lifesteal is actually nerfed in dungeons, while syphon isnt, so you should try to swap syphon with lifesteal if you are going to mainly do dungeons with whatever has lifesteal

@@awesomeking888 you can get them from any chest, it just has the highest chance to come from bedrock. Furball got a free one once

i love this series so much
I used to do ~50k more dps with shadow fury compared to livid (excluding backstab) when I optimized my talisman for 100 attack speed. I used the skyblock simplified (sbs) talisman optimizer. I’m now a mage so I need that 100 crit chance for life steal so switched back. This was outside dungeons btw.

When you're using a phantom rod, use fabled and try to do more damage. The phantom rod can be op for mini bosses, just with the right set up. (If u see this then pog). if you use the phantom rod and have fabled on it, it will be much better. You should use your most damaging set. I recommend 3/4 Shadow Assassin, as you already have. I also then recommend a good pet for damage that's maxed leveled, like a wither skeleton pet. You can use any pet of your choice as long as it's a high level and good for damage. This set up as I mentioned should allow you to flawless minibosses while taking little to no damage. Make sure you can kill mini bosses before they use a golden apple.

Use the shadow fury for clearing rooms with the ability you can just spam left and right click
Whenever you upload I am so happy.
I would suggest using the shadow fury for room clearing and/or using it in the boss fight of livid, as in the ability.
I would also recommend trying to get a flower of truth for room clearing.
I love the series so much
Shadow fury is used for clearing rooms because of its teleport ability so you can clear rooms in 20 seconds then when you get to the boss room you use livid dagger because of its 100% crit and attack speed
normally shadow fury is used for clearing a room as you can get easy hits on most mobs in the room while the livid dagger is used for mobs that are alone or mini-bosses. Until you get the flower of truth shadow fury is probably the best to clear rooms with. You can also use the shadow fury then switch to the livid dagger then you get a guaranteed backstab on any mob.
if u want to use the phantom rod effectively, attach it to a mob, and aim at the ground and hold left click. It helps avoid other attacks and still does a lot of dmg
Yeh id say keep with the livid dagger that was the right call, but at least use the shadow fury for the ability and swap back to livid dagger while teleporting. I have both as well and i can say that the ability is very helpful.
use fury for clearing rooms, dagger for mini bosses/bosses, if you can get ur hands on a flower of truth tho thatd be op, and the phantom rod is also very good if ur dying to minibosses or bosses
Shadoe fury is very good and can be used with the livid dagger as the right click teleports behind mobs and hits them meaning if you sword swap to the livid dagger after you right click the backstab abliity will work. Also on the phantom rod your missing the enchant spiked hook as well as fast is not the optimal reforge as attack speed does not affect the phantom rod. Like so he can see

Looks like a reforge with crit chance may be more suited for the phantom rod, you werent hitting all crits with it :)

If you switch up your reforges a bit, you will be able to do more damage and have 100% attack speed.

The shadow fury is like a side weapon to clear rooms, I would right click with it then swap to my flower of truth until the cooldown comes back up
Shadow fury is overpowered for room clearing so you can swap between the swords
flower of truth is still better
As you get dungeon buffs the shadow fury will become better as it has a higher weapon damage stat, the weapon damage is dependent of strength which is a buff you can get from the dungeons buff so as a dungeon progresses the shadow fury will become procentually better than the livid

Phantom rod is good for drags as well I think cuz u can hook it on and click and u dont dont need to aote or anything since its ranged
the thing is that you can get attck speed from oother sources so if you have bloody on some talismans the shadow fury will out dps livid dagger
Even if the shadow fury is not better, the ability is very useful for room clearing, but when you activate a ability, you can switch to livid to deal more damage, also I think you teleport behind the mobs with the shadow fury ability ,so you can pull out the livid dagger during the ability

the shadow fury is super good for room clearing especially in later floors
I've never seen your face before but I just love it, you have such a... pretty face, idk how else to describe it. Also you always just seem happy even when doing like 800 hours of grinding cane or eyes or something and it's just great

where the phantom rod is good is in the final phase of necron where u need to dmg necron as a berserker u cant reach him with ur sword so u have to bow him or use the rod
Livid dagger is worse than shadow fury since you can reforge your talismans for attack speed. You can also add livid fragments to add +10 damage and strength on the shadow fury. Thats a thing a lot of people miss.
Use the Livid dagger for mini bosses and stuff like this and the Fury for clearing and killing mobs which u can 1 shot
For context, shadow fury is better than livid dagger. There are a couple reasons why. One is that it can allow you to teleport through walls. Second, you need an attack speed/ferocity build to make it good. If you are clueless on a good build, use a Livid Dagger. If you know how to make a good build, use the shadow fury. I personally use the shadow fury over the Livid dagger due to it doing more damage. (Leg Wither Skeleton pet is great for miniboses if you have shadow fury.) research some good builds. It has the potential to be extremely good.
Also rn, you don’t have trouble 1 tapping things because it’s f5. When you are on f6, it becomes more important
Use shadow fury for room clearing and you livid for boss rooms or mini bosses and also the same with phantom rod
Shadow fury will be alot better for room clearing in dungeons quicker, but probs only have it in your hot bar to use when you enter a room
U can use both weapons like right click with Fury and then switch to Livid for killing the mobs
Use the shadow fury in normal dungeon rooms to quickly clear out the easy mobs, then use the livid dagger on minibosses/bosses for the better dmg output.
once u start doing floor 7 and stuff that shadow fury will be way better because u wont be able to one shot the mobs with livid. I used to use the livid but once i started doing higher floors it wasnt able to one shot any of the mobs, but once i got shadow fury i instantly started one shotting the mobs
Reforgeing talismans for attack speed will make shadow fury better (you lose out on some damage but it makes up for it with the attack speed making it better then livid dagger)

I recommend using the shadow fury for clearing and stuff than the livid dagger for mini bosses and boss fights
actually stayed up till 12:00 am to watch this also talked alot in the discord
you can room clear and the ability will teleport you to the back of an enemy and you can hit with the livid dagger :)

I think you can use the shadow fury ability and then swap to livid dagger, so you would get double damage on the mobs. You can also use the ability to clear rooms faster
Keep in mind that you can reforge talismans and use stuff like the tiger pet and crochet tiger plushie to get the SF to 100% bonus attack speed. With optimal reforges, stuff like the SF and Giant's sword are better in DPS compared to the Livid Dagger front hits.
Also, as everyone else already said, use the SF ability and swap to the Livid Dagger to get the backstab bonus on all 5 hits
You can use the shadow fury to teleport behind walls even if you havent unlocked the door yet
Its also good for killing bats for secrets. Shadow fury's ability lifesteals, I think shadow fury is better the ability is just broken
You have to reforge your talismans to get atack speed for the shadow fury to be better and you also need to frag it
The livid dagger has +100 crit Chance so u can reforge all ur talismans to damage instead of chance with fury

Honestly the livid dagger is the best considering the attack speed doubles the damage, and the back stab is op
I mean you can use the shadow fury just to one shot stuff but for bosses/mini bosses you can use the livid dagger
You can reforge talismen to attack speed to get the livid dagger attack speed
You should put dirty on your phantom rod, because I saw you were doing some normal hits and not critical damage.( its the dirty bottle reforge stone from npc next to blacksmith)
Use the shadow fury for room clearing and swap to livid after the right click of the shadow fury
Attack speed does not double your dps, rather it changes how your cps affects your attack speed. Livid and shadow are the same in dps with shadow having an actual useful ability
use both swords use the sf ability for clearing and livid dagger for other stuff
1: phantom rod needs fabled/withered and the right enchants to be good, for example all mini bosses are NOT undead, so use sharpness.
2: you didn’t try the shadow fury ability in dungeons (or didn’t put it in the video)
3: you need a flower of truth and a leg wither skeleton.

You should put sharp on phantom rod, yes most mobs in dungeons are undead but most mini bosses are not

The phantom rod is a safe way of doing damage of killing mini bosses that you can't tank
If you can tank any mini boss then its basically useless
Its really good for killing the giants in floor 6 if you can't tank because you don't have to get close to the giants

You should drink a dungeon 7 potion outside of dungeon for the strength, archery, crit and speed its easier than just drinking multiple potions, its good for like everything
