I just found a pair near me and bought them. I had a pair that I bought over 10-15 years ago. The wire got cut, and I tried to repair them at least 10 times, but I had no success. These cheap headphones are "amazing", especially for the price. I would look for them whenever I was near the headphones at a store. I finally looked online and found a pair near me. I would have ordered them if I had to. I remembered the picture of the plane, the shinny sides, the noise-canceling button, and the MDR-ZX part of the model number. My old ones were gray. The new ones are black. They are way better than my Beats; which are way more expensive. They are definitely worth it!

I just don't get why a batter is needed in order to activate noise canceling but it does sound alot better with it though.

the funny thing is, im listening to this on a pair of those there headphones.
ps. they suck when youre outside in the wind, because the noise makes a sound against the pattern on the outside of the ears.

They’re not great, you can still hear background noise if someone is watching tv or something.

Never been on a plane before but I doubt that the jet noise is going to be that loud inside the plane. Also, people noise isn't going to be that loud either. I've tested noise cancelling headphones on a public bus and they work effectively.

entertainment-knone, believe me, the noise is there. I have some older sony noise cancellers, and I love them (I take the plane twice a year). I am now looking to get some new ones, probably these.
in a plane, yes the noise is pretty loud inside the cabin of the aircraft. The fact it can be heard several feet above land should tell you something
There is a lot of noticeable rumble while inside the cabin as well at points during the flight
These are some nice headphones from what I could find on them so I grabbed them cheap online for my flight

I wouldnt use these headphones as ear warmers, they sound worse than they look.
Will these work if I just want Quiet? Like running a vacuum cleaner, grinder, or chainsaw - with no music input?

I wonder if these can be USDOT approved for driving while wearing them in all states. It doesn't seem like it would hinder hearing noises the DOTs don't want you to ignore.

God these things are cheap and feel awful and I'll probably return them to Amazon but where is that effing button? I couldn't return these fast enough, they're flimsy and feel awful. I should have known based on the price.

We haven't had any yet. at least not wireless. We are always looking at more headphones and more products. Wish we could help you out now, But we can't.
