The commentary is far far better than last year with the addition of the new gentleman because he sounds experienced in driving
Something went terribly wrong with the judging. Vaughn drove way better than Joao. Joao was all over the place, couldn't keep up, and still judges go with him. Ryan Lanteigne would never let that happen.

Vaughn loses despite his opponent Joao going four tires off. And the audio cuts right when the judges are explaining their ruling. You can’t make this up lol

The Joao VS Vaughn decision is an absolute crime against humanity. How on earth did Joao win that battle? Sure his lead was better, but he went off at least three times. Not an incomplete, sure but sloppy. 4 times though if you count the 4 wheels off right before the finish line. 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🫡
Yeah im a bit confused on that too bro, apparently the run was finished right before he went off like that at the end which got me... I honestly dont know at this point lol but damn that run was still intense tho.
@@MelikTheHedgehog i mean hell yeah it was fun to watch, and Joao is really showing he can drive. But, Vaughn absolutely should’ve won that battle. I can usually predict which way the judges are going to go about 95% of the time. The 5% of the time I’m wrong, I not surprised bc they were close battles. There were 2 or 3 decisions during last nights seeding that were just so far out of left field. Last time I was that caught off guard is when my wife told she was pregnant again. 🤣😂
I always look forward to Atlanta. My favorite drift track.
so far not impressed with the judging, runs that would have been incompletes before, are now messy but being preferred to drivers keeping it clean but safer. Vaughn lost his battle despite Joao going literally of course before the finish line....

honestly...the lack of proper production that I have seen on any FD video. Audio cuts off on pressing moments. Hope it gets better later on 🤞
Atlanta is by far the my favorite track. Now if it could just stop raining at these events lol.
I really wish they filmed this at different angles. There are parts of the track where you can't even tell how close they are or how much angle they have or what line they're on, wish there was a higher angle view in the broadcast. It pops up in replays sometimes but would be nicer to see the action better

@@05DoitforBrock Unfortunately there is almost no chance of that given how there are points for qualifying and how there are fast passes into top 16. The only way for Kase to not win the title is to qualify 17th or worse and loose top 24. If that happens and Fink comes first then he's got a shot.

It doesn't fit the stiff, corporate, 'classy' image they want to project. And they care more about projecting their image, than their own cars.

Yes joao made the best lead run of his life but there’s no way in h3ll a car that at times was facing the complete opposite direction of the lead car while following vs a near textbook follow run for that track wins based on having a better lead which is what I’m assuming is what the geeky sounding guy tried to say while the audio was gone

Brain dead judging
This sport being a judged sport is so subjective to criticism and taking away protest from the drivers just made it even worse
Having judges be the final word without being in check will be the downfall of this sport
And it’s already starting to die.
Slowly losing interest in fd lots of bad drivers get into the top 32 and it makes for boring battles easy wins against the bad drivers
Not to mention the 100 other things wrong with fd. The fact I'm ten mins in and I haven't seen anything but adverts is pathetic.
