As someone whose been building and flying drones for about 5 years now I'm just as impressed by the drone operator - It's not perfect but its good footage and he's got that thing pretty dialed in. I'd love to get to be in his shoes for a few runs.

I totally disagree with the judges on the Dunofa and Field battle. They should have sent them one more time. Simply because of Dunofas lead run. That was just legendary.
Denofa’s lead run was legendary af, the fact that they didn’t do a one more time proves how wack FD is and just because of this I’ll never have any respect for this wackass organization. Keep drifting fun, we need to bring back “real” drifting with technical tracks mimicking street drifting and mountain runs, this high speed 3 corner “show boating” isn’t drifting 😂

It all starts there ya know? Watch, drift week will develop into something like clutch kickerz and theyll consolidate, thatll become something like all the REAL drift guys wanna see. Theres some of the best mountain roads around here ive ever seen. Mt.Rose highway heading up to Lake Tahoe, Geyger Grade heading up to Virginia City, and highway 50 or Spooner heading up to yhe nevada side of lake tahoe. Highway 50 is a 4 lane highway. Shut down one side for a weekend, have run what you brung rules with safety regs of course, send us up the hill one at a time and see who sends it the hardest. I guarantee it would be the event of the decade and the road is SOOOOO FUGGIN GOOD MY NINJA!!!

I wanted to think the same but I feel like he just really didn’t shine in the slightest, making it there is a big accomplishment but he just really didn’t perform that well in this Top 16 or 32, forgot which but yea kid has a huge career ahead of him
From what I understand, score for a driver is mainly based on distance from rival, drift angle, amount of smoke from the tires and proximity to the edge of the track during the drift. If you’ve played a drift game before, you might understand a little better
the announcers should let the broadcast breathe, i would much rahter watch the cars and hear the engines and tires than you filling every second of air w words
I’m still learning but its basically to my understanding that if you are the chase car you try to stay as close to the leaders car as possible. If you are leading you try to lose the person chasing you and both drivers need to minimize corrections like changing there angle, going off the track, hitting cones and they try to have maximum angle
I was hoping for more FD competition and driving talk. The “you tuber” questions was a distraction for an FD podcast. I get it, your curious of the behind the scenes of his channel which is interesting. But as a driver, a drift fan for 20 years, I think there could have been a little more focus on FD competition driving. 🤷♂️
Any front-engined vehicle under the motorcar classification (coupe, sedan, hatch, supercar), even if the car wasn't originally RWD (swap required). You're free to run any engine you like, even electric motors. Check out their regulations for more info.

Denofa was almost an incomplete in chase and had a sloppy line in lead, an OMT would have been bullshit.
