- This Quilting technique will make you want to pull out your fabric and make something right away. The best part is how to turn a square piece of fabric into a diamond shape , This method you can make for table runner, blanket,,, I made this one for my centerpiece where I can place the flower vase on. If you want to make this bigger, you can increase the square fabric.
You'll need
8 - 5" X 5" fabric pieces
1 - 17" X 17" fabric
1 - 15" X 15" fabric
For quilting cut out a piece of 1.1/4" paper for sewing guideline ( Beginners or for someone can sew a straight line)

Beautiful doily. When my mum passed away recently we found lots in her draws. I as wondering what to do with them. I bought some fabric stiffener and molded them round bowls and glasses+ vases so now have lots of little bowls that remind me all the time. Filled with little bits and bob ❤

Absolutely brilliant, Vivian. You are so clever. So much easier your way to make a star, rather than English paper piecing. With epp you end up with surplus folded fabric at the corners. Such a pain to deal with. I wish you and your family a very merry Christmas xx

I had that fabric, only in a jelly roll. Our Walmart doesn’t have charm packs ☹️. I love it. I made my Mother-in-law a lap quilt with that. This so cute. Thank you for showing us how to make it.
