Sitting here on DVC property watching The DVC Show is something special in itself. Thanks for the content and thanks for always making me feel like a normal nerd.
I’d rather have a fridge freezer over a dishwasher in the studio. Space to put ice cream 😅
Watching live shows for the past few months there has been a lot of pavement visible. They can say everything is fine but I think they have hit the magic price where people are going to decide to vacation elsewhere. Disney has all kinds of discounts being offered on TV ads here in NY so the summer must be under sold. We go to our DVC resort for a week or more and we might do one park day, lots of times we don’t even do a park
Thank you for rescuing! That’s amazing that you are going to help transport. I also foster dogs and puppies and it is an amazing experience. Your dogs are beautiful.❤❤❤
Only reason I never did the shooting arcade was because I assumed it’d cost extra. If I knew it was free play, I would have tried it out.
Same! For years I thought it was for pay, so we’d walk right by. But I checked on it with my son a few years back and saw it was free! I regret that this wasn’t a family tradition!
This little food discussion here at the end - Paul, totally on the same page about the snacks at the outdoor Margarita stand in Mexico, and the Fish and Chips - we have enjoyed that spot many times :)...Sorry I wasn't able to be with you guys live, but enjoyed the content - really appreciate you guys' work - also agree about the comment on DCL being a good option if you want to get your fix that way - living in Texas, we don't get our Dis fix often, but love cruising, so it kills 2 birds with one stone :))...
Sunshine Seasons is an excellent recommendation! Good food that punches way above typical quick service and is well priced. Great air conditioned seating that is usually readily available. 👍🏼😊
Love Coronado, stayed in the tower 3 times. Great food and lounge for evening relaxing..... also, sangria university was fun.
Last time we stayed at the treehouses was just for one night. We were assigned a handicapped accessible treehouse. It has long ramp to walk up and down to bypass the steps. Maybe you can request those?
Monday at Epcot has extra evening hours for deluxe resort guests, so they're going to be busy on Mondays.
Happy Anniversary!
Great stream!
I’ve stayed at the Tree Houses 3 times with friends. We loved it. We would love to stay again but because we’re all older it’s gotten difficult for some of us with the stairs and bringing up luggage. That’s our only complaint.
Love Disney cruises, completed 18. Never wanted to try another cruise line and I don’t have kids.
My husband & I purchased our first DVC in 1997 and added on 4 times, at least once with Derek at Doorway to Dreams in Woodfield outside of Chicago.
Happy Belated Anniversary!
Paul- I am so with you DVC run!! But I have taking it a step with family (young kids) to participate.
Loved this show! I’m in a different time zone so catching up later but it still had me in stitches 😂
Love the Bucco hat Paul
I'm selling my grand contract is 90 pp good?
If you cut the TTC stop from the resort monorail loop then how do you get to the epcot monorail from BLT? You would have to go to MK, hop on the express, get off at TCC then hop on the epcot and vice versa to get back. I don't think they can eliminate that stop. I think the best option for GF folks that want to go to MK is to get on the boat.
Why do I have the image in my head. Amy and Derek run into each other at TTC. Amy with a tiki bird. Derek with a lamp. They just say hi and hi and quickly run away.
Great show guys way to carry the show here
Can we get a "sucks or doesnt suck" 2024 edition? when all 5 of you are there?
I'm sure pandas got a bunch of extra paddles at his place ;) haha
plz dont block me! I couldn't help it
I think they should offer DVC at the Yacht Club. Since the Beach Club sells out so quick.
Elevator work for the Epcot lounge makes sense. I know it was down my last trip.
DVC Guides-we have changed Guides at least 3 times. And the Guide we have now, we will change to someone else if we ever buy Direct again. She has been awful. All you have to do when you find a Guide you like better, is as them to switch you over to them. There might be something to sign, but that’s it.
Great show and great questions. And no mine wasn't a trick question. I've never really included the Fort Wilderness cabins in the moderate category lol
Would love Coronado DVC and more home merch! Random (you mentioned Maya Grill), but if you love Mexican food, I highly recommend Ceiba at the Conrad Orlando - perfect for a birthday dinner!!
I’ve never seen a discount for singles or couples, it’s always a family of four, I don’t even look anymore. They need to say right up front. My favorite dvc resort is Saratoga but it’s because of Disney Springs, then I don’t need to even go in a park. Well maybe one park. I’d rent the points and a car to visit and see other stuff.
enjoy the Treehouse. I liked it when when I stayed last year, even though I don't like SSR
I loved the treehouse when we stayed in one couple of years ago, but if you are doing the parks, really need a car and not use disney buses, it can take a extra 30 minutes to go from the tree house bus stop to regular bus stop.
Disney must upgrade their small boats from Poly and GF to MK and support double strollers and ECVs so that more people will use that transportation. Same goes for boats from Wilderness Lodge to MK
Hope no new park for 15-20 years
Disney is losing all the talented workers (electricians, builders to Universal). They need to pay them better instead of those top lazy losers making up all the worst decisions. Who can get rid of them???
Where did you read that Universal is hiring all of Disneys staff?
