I always appreciate your honest take on the current state of the game, Scroft-you're usually spot on. The loading textures are my biggest frustration right now. As for the new swath appearance, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but they feel overly saturated and have a very arcade-like look, if that makes sense. On another note, the news about Precision Farming is fantastic! I honestly didn’t expect it this soon. I thought we’d be waiting for a completely new scripted mod to pop up on ModHub under a different name to replace it. Happy days 🥳
Well, Scroft, I can only hope that you have good luck with the new series you're doing. I understand that you're conducting this as a beta test to determine if FS25 can be used as a Let's Play series platform. I fear it will still present many challenges, but throughout my time on FS since 13, I have never known Giants to take anyone's feedback into account as in what direction to take. They have always done exactly what they wanted to do, which why this game has always relied on model makers to save it.
Great video mate. I think if Giants decides to charge for Precision Farming, they need to do significant updates to that, otherwise they need to release it as a free mod. Cant wait to see what new releasedls they have and what their patches truly fix.
Can’t wait for precision farming, enjoy the game more with it in. Surprised it isn’t a base game feature that you can turn on and off by now, as I understand not everyone wants to use it
Glad to hear about Precision Farming (should have been part of the base game by now). Give absolutely zero fs about the remastered base game maps...ZERO
This is damage control by Giants, saying "shiny thing, shiny thing" doesn't detract from the woeful job Giants have done with FS25. I'll wait on news that the base game is playable before I could give credit for 'extra' stuff. I know your content depends on Giants, and you have reluctance to speak ill, but sometimes we need to be critical friends!
Always enjoy your thoughts and videos for the game! Just a word of advice becareful saying what you’d pay for, giants is a business company so if something was free and enough folks say they’ll pay you’ll end up paying. Just a word of caution, but aside from that love your content as always!
Whats so bad about saying that you would pay for something? We have no idea what Giant's plan is whether a mod will be free or be a mod that needs to be purchased...so @scroft saying that he would pay for something like that is perfectly acceptable. That's a common saying and however Giants decides to release that mod is solely on them. I highly doubt 1 person saying that would genuinely affect or sway their decision. Just sayin, it's a great mod and worth it even if we had to pay for it. I will say that if they charge for it though, there better be some significant changes to that mod.
I believe that the Giants offered paid downloadable content, such as the production DLC, in contrast to the Precision Farming DLC, which is free. I feel one is worth purchasing, while the other should remain free. My point is that I expect Precision Farming to be free and would be quite disappointed if it were not, given its history. Unless significant improvements are made and it's relaunched as paid DLC, it would require substantial additions. I understand my phrasing in the video may have implied I desired paid Precision Farming content. However, it seems illogical that, of all the DLCs, Precision Farming, which is free, holds the most value for me. They could have charged for Precision Farming and offered other DLCs for free, a model I believe many players would prefer.
I was pretty disappointed when they announced the relief of VR, I expect the base game to be better, less buggy and frankly more finished before they started with completely additional, unrelated to base game content
Boooo it's not worth it and not realistic. P.F. you must spray herbicide when you can weed useing a mechanical weeder but with P.F. you get a bonus for useing chemicals

Yesssss very good news. I was going nuts with the amount of fert, seed and herbicide spent in every field. Love PF all the way.
Thanks for the info scroft, enjoy your time off
Thanks, will do!
Looking forward to this.
Precision farming came out in April for FS22 So I expect around that time looking forward to it

So excited for precision farming back
precision farming should make a massive difference to the game, thanks for the info
Precision Farming 🥳

Somewhere in there think Mercedes unimog and mb trac be announced
That so awesome
Great news!
Yes !
Never clicked a video this fast 😂
Now i might buy fs25 cause of precision farming.🎉
LOL "We obviously know about Fs Vr we will just leave that there"🤣
❤❤
Updated swaths when?? :D
Good, miss precision farming.
I play console have done since fs 2019 but never done the season pass! Is it worth doing the season pass?
I do agree about the animals. I love the animal side but without the enhanced animal system from FS 22 they just feel pointless in 25.
Can't wait
Precision farming, manual attach, manure system are the only reasons I am not on Fs25 yet :D

The game, I feel is not complete without precision farming
Uh-oh, scroft said he would pay money for precision farming, Giants is gonna turn it into a paid DLC now😂😂
poor VR lmao.

Maybe your wish will come true and Giants will charge $ for Precision Farming in FS25.
