@@HeroicMermaids98 no she wasn’t… she grew up in a very low class family in London… she’s not from a rich background she only went to a prestigious university..
Chicken Shop Date is genius and Amelia is brilliant. Love this style of comedy and I love the sheer confusion of people in the comments over how awkward the interviews are and why they're awkwardly flirting over £2 chicken nuggies 😁
im just supersede how she didn't get cancelled for it, posh white person sets up interviews in a chicken shop date cus black people just love chicken. It's mad
I hear what your saying tbh but this is more of her being questioned not her questioning other people plus it’s good she is being recognised by other platforms
@@tayoshane3345 i agree and also it’s her being her actual self rather than the character she portrays when doing the chicken shop dates so wouldn’t really make sense to merge the two
I binge watched chicken shop date early 2021 and her interview with jesse lingard and bernardo silva is what got me into watching futbol. I'm a girl from nyc that played sports but never cared about watching it, and now I'm obsessed and never miss a Man U or England game
Central Saint Martins really isn't as open and creative as they claim to be. It's true! The tutors indeed have a lot of ego, gossip about students, turn down ideas if it isn't what they like and overall VERY known to be so degrading!! Everyone that knows of CSM, knows this. But very few speak about it... because it's Central Saint Martins ❤️
UAL CSM etc are always going to be focus on a students career, it’s embedded into our creative industry that UAL are students are superior than other students from other academic institutions. This is built on Lecturers and people who went there who are connected to high places in the creative industry. What you wouldn’t know CSM students use ghosts to do their work. The place looked and felt like a funeral everyone dressed in black.
I love Amelia, her dry sense of humour and awkwardness are great. She's similar in many ways to Richard Ayoade and that's a good thing. In fact, a chicken shop date with him would probably be one of the best things ever :))
Amelia's incredibly smart and an inspiration in what she's achieved. Thanks for motivating us other creatives, and best of luck with Mr. Champagne Papi ;) .
I love her because she's just being herself - in this interview, she's exactly the same as in her own. You know it's not a facade and she has that naturally sarcastic sense of humour. I can't wait to see where her career takes her.
I don't know if this was the case for anyone else but, this interview just further clarified and reinforced my respect for this woman! She's incredibly wise and just so organic about everything she says and does. She's defo going places and i can't wai to see what else she has up her sleeve, big up to our girl Amelia :)

I don’t love her at all. Don’t mean to hate…she seems like a nice girl and everything but just not interesting . I don’t find her interviews funny or interesting and basically pretty repetitive. Maybe it’s because I don’t like the music the guys she interviews make that much, not really sure. Most of them remind me of the pricks I went to school with. Can’t believe her shows blown up so much tbh. It’s nuts. Good for her tho….
@@illybrown1208 ahah it could be related to what you’ve said about the pricks in your school actually. Amelia is an outstanding interviewer because she presents a whole new different method of discovering a person. You’re not seeing the artists serious and vulnerable because of dark and deep questions, you’re not seeing them giving mere and simple informations. That’s something that every other interviewer does, very common. But she brings out another part of them which is all about simplicity and spontaneous reactions. You see them struggling with her awkwardness but also being interested and amused, and every single one of them has its own different way to cope with that. She interviews mostly artists from the streets, and the fact that she manages to make them feel weird, to show their mellow side, their intrinsic shyness, or on the contrary, their funny side, their wit, their intelligence… I think is absolutely fantastic.
@@iwannatalkalot3415 hmmm would have to respectfully disagree with you on a few of the points there. That’s fine tho…I appreciate your opinion. I think maybe it comes down to how interested you are in people in general. I’m not really much of a people person and find small talk in general pretty tedious no matter whether it’s done in a slightly awkward way or however much of someone’s personality it reveals.
