WD40 can make rubbers and plastics more brittle. While this is great to show and have this option when needed, I would rather hack off the bolt holding the wheel, and replace it. But Great if you are in a situation that you cannot for some reason use that method. Thanks, and good job!
I would have never thought of this, best idea ever. Thanks for this. I just bought a cheap bag and since the wheels are the common complaint, I figured I'd look up how to fix it ahead of time. This was awesome 💯💯💯
Can you do this and your wheels are not broken? I bought a luggage with 4 wheels and I dont want them to break. I packed alot and suitcase is always heavy. I can't travel light my work requires everything I carry.

Yep. Screw that- Best case scenario: Spend half a day getting half of one wheel right only to have weak spot likely to fail elsewhere on same or other wheel. Both of mine appear to have the strength of a Chips Ahoy cookie right now. Samsonite carry on is going in the dumpster.
How much would a new wheel cost? Also, WD-40 works great, but it is toxic! And it has a very pungent odor. It should only be used outdoors. So if you use it to repair your luggage, let it sit outside for a day or so on a non-rainy day. If you have a pick-up with a canopy, you could put it in the back until the odor dissipates.
I have an older TravelPro Walkabout that has a delaminating, broken wheel. The wheels are riveted in and not removable. There's no good access inside the case to drill the old wheels out. I got the bag used for $12 at the local Goodwill, and it's in otherwise perfect shape. I found your video, and I thought I'd give it a try. I have some JB Weld on hand and used that. IT WORKS GREAT!!! Thank you for sharing this! I'm not sure how long my repair will last, but the longer I put of dropping $300+ on a new TravelPro (I'm spoiled) the better. MANY THANKS TO YOU!!!
This music makes me want to cry. I just want to fix my luggage.

If you guys want to place an order of rubber small wheels made by Sunsen, that would be a good choice.
Probably a useful video but since mine is a totally diff suitcase going to leave it. But like someone else says below that music! I'd change that.
