Seeing her, I can't help but think about her death on GA, and the deep sorrow of Mark who let himself die because he couldn't bare being alive whereas she is not. I regret them, deeply. What a waste for Shonda.
So much respect for her. Mental health is a thing people talk about more now, but it's still slightly taboo in some circles. Not easy to admit we're vulnerable.
Hello Chyler, Nice Meeting You. Awesome. I am impressed. I applause for you. You did the right thing. You are amazing. I applause you 👏👏👏👏. I salute you forever. Hat Off To Chyler. God Bless You 😊😊😊😍😍😍😍🤟🤟🤟🤟 God Bless You ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I like her on Supergirl. She comes off as genuine and likable here. Seems smart. She's awfully pretty too. Her eyes are amazing. Not a lot of people could hold a candle to Melissa Benoist, but Chyler can pull it off.
Awesome. Both Melissa Benoist and Chyler Leigh are real life strong female heroes. Having the courage to voice their experience. It is not easy to admit to one's past, one's addiction, one's hardships, one's mental health background. Indeed, mental health is strongly correlated to addiction, as evident in her life. From drug/sustance to behaviour addiction in religious faith. It is not about the "downs." But how you cope and use your voice. We, as females and males, should stand firm and be strong.
I can relate to this so much in the way that you to take care of everyone- my mum has bipolar and it’s constantly effecting everyone around me (espically because she is in denial) and since I deal with things in a much more isolated way everything kinda falls on me, I’m my mum’s emotional support, my younger brothers keeper and I’m constantly suffering from my dads hero complex.
pain is the primary source of wisdom in life. wisdom is not fun. but luck is better then wisdom when it comes to learning but wisdom comes to all who survive trauma, not that trauma ever ends but surviving through it regardless as long as you can hold on.
Chyler has definitely been through the wars , from Cocaine drug addition from 2001 to 2002, being clean since then, to being diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2009 and then having to battle herself through COVID in 2020 and to recover from this...Chyler earns my deep respect for someone who has struggled, battled her way through and recovered, she has also managed to keep her family together having been married in 2002 and having three children in 2003, 2006 and 2009, she is may have played Alex Danvers in "Supergirl" but Chyler is her own superhero in her own right and definitely earns this!!
I wish there's more episodes being made a month I love this series I've watched every episode like 3 times And now I'm watching flash while waiting for more supergirl episodes. :)
Chyler,I think it was your self esteem that was going bad.when you took off with the ride I knew riiight there you wanted to get better, but when no one wants to listen,it gets ugly.you stay strong girl,it's your world now...
If you can tolerate bipolar from individuals around then you also know how much effort to understand the situation. Don't think that if someone has that diagnosis that they can have an excuse to harm people because of it. It's best to recognize that mental portion as part of their character long term and handle the situation that way.
The one thing I would tell someone who has a family member who comes to them with mental illness or emotions they are feeling is to not invalidate their feelings.....For me, I would always open up to a specific family member, and she would always make me feel like I shouldn't be feeling the way I was feeling...She would say, don't be sad about this, just be positive, just be grateful that you have other things like family and friends.....It's important to Validate other people's feelings and say it's ok that you are feeling this way, you are allowed to feel wathever you are feeling.....Otherwise, it makes you feel guilty for having those feelings, you will suppress them, but they'll always come back later if you don't aknowledge them! You are allowed to feel what you are feeling!
I wonder if that is part of the reason why she left Grey's Anatomy back in 2012. Ellen Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey, never talks about her sister, Lexi Grey, who is Chyler, whose character died in a plane crash, on the show since. Nor she Lexi to her new found sister or her own children... since 2012. I always thought it was strange..

Porque nosotros queremos el gran regreso de la hermos magiee de una manera o otra ellas nos hicieron volver a creer en el amor magiee y alex por siempre
I'm not to be even remotely aware of her personal crosses, but I hope she does well in regard to that serious cross to bear. But also, psychatric diagnoses are not that easy even for a really highly qualified psychiatrist to carry out, and why? Because they have to interrogate the patent and come to the conclusion based on what they're told, and often they may well goof up, or be mislead by accident by the patient- it's a very "iffy science", not because it's "foggy" but because they don't have a good way to measure this cross in people's lives. I really do wish her the best in regard to her personal crosses in regard to that profound glitch in her psyche that that software error set does serve as, and in regard to her roles' behavior as an actress, I really do hope and pray she'll only accept performing scenes that're morally acceptable- a lot that actors and actresses are currently expected to do is flat-out gross, if not completely immoral at the core, especially regarding the bedroom on film (which should never ever happen), and I really would prefer to have the legion of decency come back into action in regard to protecting these performers.
