Looks like i’ll be digging where i found my 1.03 carat my first year mining. plus where 3-5 other 1 carats have also been found from others digging deep! Video coming soon!! Thank you all !
Thanks everyone for the support and watching this video!! It was a successful trip mining for diamonds!! Maybe I’ll find a few more going over my heavy minerals at home using the pizza pan!
I worked in the Ekati diamond mines and they have a handful of diamonds on display in the security office where you have to sign a release saying at anytime they can low wattage ex-ray your entire body for diamonds! The diamonds are so plentiful there that they fall off the it's trucks! Every square foot of that entire facility is under video surveillance system! You can go for walks around lac de gras but don't pick a trying up because you'll be met at the entrance to the facility by security! Also there are alot of barren lands grizzlies around there and there not scared of us around there! Was an amazing experience but I was only there for two years while we set up and trained a local start up company so wages would benefit the first Nations people whose land the mines were on.
Found everything but a Diamond. It was still wonderful spending the day with the wife and kids. Priceless. After watching this video I clearly see why I didn’t find one though. 😂
We were in the field for about 10 minutes on our first and only visit and my wife finds one. Official weight out was 22 points, white with a little carbon. ME, two dats and found zip.
I have no idea the value of the diamond. We never had it appraised, the trip was a side trip of our 4 yr. cross country odyssey. Part of my wifes bucket list, we were going to Janis Joplins home but were diverted by weather and flooding at Port Arthur, Tx.
Very nice I made 3 trips to the crater of diamond and wasnt lucky...but fter watching you I know why..lol.. I wasn't doing it right, thanks for showing us how👍
Watched a show on diamonds and he said something interesting about when they get ejected most of them vaporized except for the ones trapped in ash pockets. This was in the formation of the area he was at, I'm no expert.
Diamonds burn as coal do in presence of oxygen, the temperature for them to combust is just higher, technically, you could heat yourself, even if it would be inefficient compared to coal with diamonds.
WOW!!!!! Super beautiful diamond!!! I see lots of them that are odd shapes but yours is symmetrical right out of the ground. Well done sir, a lot of work but such a great reward. Now where did I lay my shovel!!??
iowa panner haha ! Yes a lot of the diamonds are burnt or have carbon, and inclusions. It’s always fun to see a flawless diamond on the flip!! Thanks for watching!!
Murray Rivers Gold Adventures I have flipped a small picker once out of 2,000 flips lol. Not much gold, most was disintegrated during the 120 mile irruption. Most of the diamonds were burnt to nothing. Thank for watching!
We have a place here in Australia, Reedy Creek Eldorado in Victoria. Lot's of fine gold and if you get really lucky, you can get a diamond caught in the river Sluice.
Hey Brotha. That's awesome! My daughters and I had a great time digging and learning from you at Coleman's a couple weeks ago. Thanks for sharing. You are inspiring and glad to see hard work and passion paying off. Hope to run into you again.

I know this was an older video but i love watching all of your Crater of Diamonds videos! We're actually on the road to the park right now. Going to be hot this time of year but can't wait to get there to try out the search methods I've seen in your videos! Would be really cool to see you there in action.

Does anyone take diamond testers with them? If they the park even allows people to use them. Someone should invent a precious stone/mineral detector like a metal detector that can be adjusted to detect the different categories of either hardness or the dominant mineral class or at least have different signals for semi precious from a precious rock/minerals. Unless it's already on the market.

I have a stone that looks like a diamond,, how do I know that it's a diamond??
@@DiamondMinerIvins CONGRATS! Just out of curiosity, what's the approximate value of one that size uncut?
you can buy a $20 digital diamond tester off ebay. they haven’t lied to me once.
Since this diamond is considered flawless it’s a little more money. around $100 per point is average for me. Around a $1100-$1300 stone
