It's easy for "... goes rock" type songs to sound corny, but this is not corny. This is excellent. Everyone killed it, but especially the drummer in my opinion.

The song/lyrics really fit the "scream-o" genre well! The kind of angsty attitude of the lyrics, it's perfect. Really good choice for a source, even the course of the bridge and chorus transfer well.

Glad you enjoy it, but can you stop referring to it as "scream-o". Scream-o was a genre that came from emo pop punk and blended screamed harsh vocals. Emo + screams = scream-o.
These covers leans more to the core side metal. People don't take people seriously when they refer to harsh vocals as "scream-o".
