Our Last Night is an American rock band made up of Trevor Wentworth on vocals, Matt Wentworth on guitar/vocals, Alex Woodrow on bass, and Tim Molloy on drums. This cover is so amazing. The way that Trevor, Matt and Tim say "fuck you" and "fuck off" sounds so nice as they also did in their cover of Blackbear's song "Hot Girl Bummer". Trevor, you performed well with clean and guttural vocals, Matt you performed well with clean vocals and played great guitar riffs and Tim you played great drums. And I wish Alex "Woody" Woodrow all the best in his next works, even though he is no longer a member of OLN, Woody will always be a member of the OLN family. The only survivor of this song is the dog lol.

I'd say it doesn't necessarily because this is your style of music. It's just that the quality of musics in these last decade since 2012 have been degraded pretty heavily compared to the previous periods. Almost all of them (songs that are released since 2012 through 2022) have covers that also have a much better arrangements. Our Last Night is one of those cover musicians that have succeded to rearrange "pop" songs into a much better ones.
Instead of the original songs of today's musics, I'd rather go to Our Last Night, Johnatan Young, Sindre Myskja, and Fame on Fire for hard rocks ; Frog Leap Studios for metals, Scary Pockets, Lucas Brar, Postmodern Jukebox, Dirty Loops, and Charles Cornell for jazzes ; Halocene, First to Eleven for pop rocks, Alex Melton, and Janick Thibault for pop punks ; Boyce Avenue, This Wild Life, Igor Presnyakov, Tris Mikal, and Edoardo Gili for acoustic covers ; plus Anthony Vincent, Andy Rehfeldt, Andre Antunes, Melodicka Bros for crazy experiments.

The original sounded petty and more akin to what reality tv shows how the aftermath of a breakup is but with the rock version conveys feelings of unrequited anger which makes it feel more human or relatable
