Worked like a charm in my E60 (LCI) from 2008. Just coded in the ABG module SBR_BEIFAHRER_ACSM and SBR_FAHRER_ACSM to nicht_aktiv, that was enough. Red seat belt light in the instrument cluster still comes on if I don't buckle my seat belt and only 2 warning gongs, but that's alright for me. As long as the annoying endless gongs are gone, I'm fine!

Great Tutorial, just a couple of questions. I have a rear left pretensioner issue that I'm trying to code out. I followed the steps from the video. but the issue is still there. I have only disabled rear right and left tensioners in the ABG module in NCS Dummy Export the file to .MAN as per Video. I then click change job etc. Do I need to disable anything else?
thank you for your video. I've never coded before, but used INPA. When I load NCSExpert, under profiles, I only have 2 options: Expertmode or Code Control Unit , ZCS reading. I tried both profiles, went under CAS, and I don't have the ABG option. All options under "A" are AFS, ALC, and ARS. I have a 2004 E60. I was able to get into the seat belt chime menu under expertmode and code it per your insructions...but haven't driven the car yet to see if it worked, but my main reason for doing this is to get rid of the passenger restraint malfunction/airbag error. any idea how to get the "default" profile and how to get to ABG module? thanks in advance.

hi mate i have a e87 120d on a 2009 plate i need to know what cable and software to be able to do this as the matt is knackered the first cable i got just kept coming up with errors could you point me in the right direction thanks
do you know maybe e60 remote trunk open button disable or longer holding time for open with remote, because i see 1 time stay open my tunk on street as one free shop.
Dean if I deselect the passenger seat pad do I leave the pad plugged in, I was told to unplug it then clear the fault then code it out
Hi. Inpa does find my airbag module but ncs doesn't. I've had to replace bad sim/sgm module with retrofit one. After replacement 3 errors. I've managed to change vin but 93bd and 93ac is an issue. I cannot see airbag module in ncs expert. What I'm doing wrong? My e61 doesn't have rear belt contacts

Tried this on my 2007 LCi e60 all not active yet still getting restraint warning, ensured file was empty is there anything else to try ?
Excellent tutorial very direct I have a problem though. I cleared out my occupancy and loaded up the MAN file executed job, but the lights still remain. I redid the procedure and it shows all of the items I set an active are still in active yet the error lights Remain I don’t know what to do
In other words the file shows that it saved the new inactive settings. But the lights are still on my dash
I have the same issue. What is up? I code it out, as per video. (Great vid by the way!) the. It comes back. So I code it out again and it keeps coming back. Help please ?
Hi, do I have to disconnect the occupancy sensor in order for it to work? When I disable all that - idrive throws an error.
Very nice video but still trying to learn. So do I have to go on ncs expert Module ABG to deactivate airbag and seat belt chime but do I go to that list that u showed and go from Aktiv to Nitch_aktiv. The only thing Is ncs expert helps translate German to English. Because I also want to upgrade brake lights to led and I want to deactivate error code when I swap to led.

Does this also work for the E63? I have a 2005 645ci and it has had no software updates in many years most likely. And I just bought a new android unit to replace the CCC and now learned I have to activate remote AUX . I am here in Saudi with little support so thanks for the help and thank you for all the videos mate!

Help please. I am coding it out as you showed. Then remove key. Insert key. Fault is back. Back in to ncsexpert and dummy. Everything is back to how it was again. So i code it out again. Same error comes on dash. The coding won’t stay Help please?

no they dont why would you want them to work ??? there useless anyway take a risk and have fun in life without them you never know you may live you may not depending on the severity of the crash

well, using the same software and when selecting the ecu to code i dont have ABG listed, anyone know why???
ABG is not available on the E63 ECU. I have checked with numerous scanners. If I am wrong, somebody plz throw me a bone.

Hey can you tell me how to add my retro leather sports seats with lumbar support. I had sports seats with leatherette and no lumbar... everything works except the side bolsters and lumbar because I think they use the same motor. I have INPA and ISTA+ and ISTA\p. Thank you! and thanks for all the vids so far very helpful!
sorry mate lumbar support will not work unless you have the sport option activated it only activates in sport mode and you must have HUD installed to activate sport HUD and widescreen drive to activate the m drive like I have therefore the retrofit will be standard seats I have bolsters that air out perfectly retrofitted with HUD on mine with ease
@@BMWDoctor Okay well it is a E92 335 so has the sport package.. figured I could add lumbar to the VO similiar to doing a heated seat retro ... I have retro fitted sports seats in my 05 530 the only thing that will not work on those seats is the heated seat option... but I figured that was because the seats are 08 LCI so different logic than pre-LCI... thanks for the advise my friend!
No lci will not work they have different controls on lci to the normal seats arw different aswell in the sport

Yes big big trouble like set the airbags to fire if you code the wrong thing it will fire the airbags directly at you
