Days before I had risk operation i listeded to this and Angel's song , In the first operation I suffered a hemorrhage, the same day I had lung surgery. I spent New Year's Eve intubated and sedated, thank God. Today I am still recovering, but little by little we are trying to live again. Love and peace for everyone 7D forever
Clint and Lajon's harmonies are so underrated. Not to mention the bass and drum grooves....

Amazing example of how heavy metal does not really have to be all screaming. This has a great melody and nice harmonies but still rocks with the best. Great players, great band.

Not only does Sevendust know how to make a great sounding song, but there's so much depth behind it. This song has served me so much over the years.

Noel Williams whats wrong with having a tour bus? Got news for ya: I’ve worked at concert venues, and yes, Killswitch has one, too. There’s nothing wrong with bands being successful, and there’s plenty of bands to like out there. Music is for everyone.
Still my favorite Sevendust album. It's a work of art.
Personally it’s my second favorite album from Sevendust, although I give it credit to introducing me to my favorite band of all time since the end of 2001. My personal favorite album from them is their follow up, Seasons, although you can’t go wrong with pretty much any album from them.

二十年前我被这首歌拯救过。那是在北京，2005年1月1日。元旦。当时我退了前不久刚考上的北京的大学，因为我中学起一直热爱摇滚乐，梦想未来去北京组原创摇滚乐队，但是我从小成长的那个偏远落后小县城，根本没有什么条件，家里也极其反对我听摇滚弹吉他，身边也没几个听摇滚的朋友，孤独苦闷度过了整个中学时代，唯一的出路就是通过高考去北京，而因为当时的信息闭塞我并不知道中国有学校可以学到录音制作之类的东西，只是我一直听摇滚乐专辑买摇滚杂志，对这个职业有所耳闻但完全没渠道深入了解。所以当我得知居然有大学开设了录音专业时我极其后悔没能早点知道。为了离唱片行业和我的原创摇滚乐梦想近一些，我不顾家人的反对，退学，学习音乐，准备艺考和复读，钱都拿去学音乐了，住地下室，一星期生活费控制在五十元以内。但是毕竟对未来完全没有把握，不知道能不能考得上，更不知道能不能做成一个原创摇滚乐队。在艰苦的环境里时常陷入焦虑惶恐自我怀疑。就在元旦那天，身边有人要去网吧包夜打游戏来"过节"，我也一起去网吧了，但我不打游戏我就是看摇滚视频，然后我看到了这个mv……那晚我循环了无数遍。mv里这个被赶出家流浪的女孩，我仿佛看到了自己的影子，而最后那个逐渐变得五彩缤纷的广阔天地，让我感动得泪流不止……无论任何时候当被问起，sevendust都是我最喜欢的乐队之一，这首歌也是我最喜欢的歌之一，感谢你们，在二十年前那个寒冷冬夜北京的一个破网吧里，你们这首歌给了一个迷茫少年对于未来的信心和勇气。
I had a hard time last year with deciding what I wanted to do with my life. This song helped me and now I feel happier. I'm still in the process but slowly I see the life I want. Love this band and this song!!!

song got me through those teen years and college life... tried taking my life once but didnt happen. when darkness fall, find your light. it is always there. realize that your life is worth moving on forward. find a grip. it is always there. just hold on to it and pull up. never ever fucking give up. believe me. once u get through, you will smile and probably laugh at how it was looking back. storms dont last a lifetime. quitting does not make it right.

Was never a fan of this genre of music but always thought these guys wrote great songs and had really legit hooks. Great playing and singing with really cool vocal harmonies.
As someone who is currently in active substance abuse recovery this song hits home on a very special level... We all can Live Again if we give our self a chance.

I got to hear 7D last summer at a local band festival, 7D comes there almost every year! A small town fest and they love playing there and show it greatly. Amazing to see and hear their genuine musical power and Ill always love them.

this song deserves some radio play. 7d always keeps it real. they have the perfect balance of heavy and soft. when im tired of heavy metal and soft music 7d is the perfect balance.

I saw Sevendust back in '04 at the Bayfront Auditorium in Pensacola, FL with Ill Nino. Sevendust was amazing live, and Ill Nino rocked the house. I've been listening to Sevendust since '97, and this song somehow has flown under the radar for me until now. This just came up on my Pandora station and I came here and gave it a couple more listens. I have no doubt this would be a radio hit if it were released today...
