      I believe you are very right, I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees this same problem with the ‘education system’. You are a very perceptive person imo, maybe you could change the world for good too with that vision you have. Maybe you’re doing it right now without even knowing.

    Seven habits was a big one for me. The habit of being proactive is a gamechanger - control what you can, let go of what you can't and hone the ability to distinguish between the two.

      God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
      Courage to change the things I can,
      And wisdom to know the difference.
      Living one day at a time,
      Enjoying one moment at a time,
      Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
      Taking, as Jesus did,
      This sinful world as it is,
      Not as I would have it,
      Trusting that You will make all things right,
      If I surrender to Your will,
      So that I may be reasonably happy in this life,
      And supremely happy with You forever in the next.
      Amen.

    Zahabi I’m currently 18 years old and want to become at least an amateur MMA fighter. I’ve been training MMA for like 4 months back when I was 15. I’m considering starting wrestling. However I’ll only train 2 times a week+ 1 day focused on strength and conditioning. My question to you is should I combine wrestling with boxing or bjj. You advocate people to practice one martial art 5 times a week ala flow training. But I’ve a different situation where I’ll only be able to train 2 times a week.

    Maybe you should start listening to music, Coach. You said in a previous chat that you think it's a waste of time because you are not expanding your mind, but that is not really accurate. There are many studies that show listening to music has many health and cognitive benefits - including stress reduction ;)

    • @cambo6911
      @cambo6911 6 лет назад

      I agree my friend though it's not for everyone. For me, music is extremely therapeutic. I grew up in a family full of musicians. Since I was about 3 or 4, music has been a huge part of my life. My mind rarely rests and all the numbers, all the notes, all the beats, all the melodies, all the arrangements, all the lyrics, all the different emotions evoked, all the memories, seem to stimulate my mind immensely...
      Music is very powerful, both positively as well as negatively. I love creative writing too. For me, it all seems to expand my thought process and like you mentioned, cognitive function 👍

    What's your morning routine?

  • @aspirabrokers
    @aspirabrokers Год назад +2

    Here is what I took away:
    You avoid stress by avoiding overwhelm. You avoid overwhelm by focusing on only one thing at a time.
    Here are 4 things to consider when you organize your life.
    “First thinks First”
    1. List the 10 most important things you have to do for the day (or even week)
    2. Priorities them in order importance
    3. Do the most important thing FIRST
    4. Don’t multitask. Focus on one thing at a time. You will get much more done that way. So don’t move on until you’ve finished the most important thing.
    Consider reading the following Books:
    - “7 habits of highly effective people” by Steven covey
    - “time warrior” by steve chandler
    - “the one thing” by Gary Keller
    Finally we even get an App Recommendation: “Clear Todos”.
    Find something that works for you to stay focused on one thing at a time and to keep things in the right order.
