Every Ramadan before I used to be lazy and sleep in and all sorts. This Ramadan has been the best. I put my entire heart into it and that happened because 7-8 months before Ramadan I found the sweetness of Salah because I went through a major trial in my life, I learned soo much about m religion from the Quran, RUclips videos like this and it led me to following the commandments of Allah, Wallah you will never ever find such tranquility and humility anywhere apart from Islam, as long as you follow the commandments wholly, you will succeed. I work 12 hours and I listen to Surahs with English, pondering on them and enjoying the journey. I will continue to ascend to newer heights because Islam is absolute, it's perfection. My only regret is that I didn't realise or search this way of life a long time ago. However, I am beyond grateful to Allah for guiding me. I pray Allah guides us all and makes us find the sweetnes and beauty of Islam.

Everyday ask for forgiveness to Allah. Think back previous sins, regret it & make tawbah. Ask forgiveness for everyone in the world as well to Allah from Prophet Adam (a.s) until end of day people (qiyamah). If your eyes starting drop even a single tear, then it is mean Allah starting to knock your heart door to be soften. Forgiveness is the entrance of soft the heart.

Throughout my years of praying I’ve realized that there will be periods where your connection with god is out of this world, and periods where you do not feel anything towards him. No matter what happens, keep on praying even if you don’t feel like it, or feel that there is no point due to the absence of this connection. It is okay to feel this way sometimes. It always gets better however, so have patience and inshallah you will be back on track.
