👍 🎤 🎹 Luke is very talented imo, and yet relatively unknown and underrated by far too many people! I’m going on 70, and the 1st time I heard him was w/ ‘Feel For Me’, and bc of it I began looking for all the other music by him I could find. It’s not only his relaxing, soothing voice, but the expressive meaning behind his lyrics and simplicity in his style that makes this music so special to me. No matter what he plays, it goes to show that, imo at least, it’s not necessary to have a lot of ‘pomp and circumstance’, w/ other background vocalists, instruments, scenery, etc. - only a single person who can capture the heart and soul of those who listen and reach something inside them. Whether it’s a particular experience, time, person, or anything else that took place, or currently is, Luke’s music can capture that. It’s a shame he’s not well known, or given the credit he deserves, esp when so many people say that other ‘contemporary’ artists are THE ‘best’ or ‘greatest’ ever. Maybe it’s bc they have no real heart of their own to recognize and appreciate his unique talent and style 🤔…
This song reminds me of seeing a flower coming up out of soil in an area where there is fire scorched earth. Being able to rise again through pain & sorrow. Seeing hope in a world of utter darkness.
Funny 😄 in a sad way, but as for part of your comment - ‘don’t stress’ - that’s sort of the name of the playlist that I have THIS song in. Actually it’s called, and described, something like ‘Music to cope and deal with a loss/stress’. The lyrics to this, and many of Luke’s other song’s lyrics, are very befitting to that emotional state when I’m feeling that way. Such an underrated artist, both 🎤🎸🎹 imo!
I heard this song on an episode of Station 19 and it was sooo timely in my life. So grateful!
Thank you so much for this beautiful music. I am really grateful I found it. 🙏
I've waited a year for this and I am not disappointed, a masterpiece ❤
....as beautiful as the miracle of nature around us ....thank you Luke🌻
