Thanks so much Grady, we made it back to Canada safe and sound despite a couple of big storms across Wyoming and Nebraska. The burb handled beautifully in the storms.
This 2000 Suburban has been great. A couple of minor issues on the way home that were quickly sorted with the help of Grady and Rock Springs Auto Repair. Then just a fantastic drive back.
Grady and his team went out of their way to source and prepare this Suburban in a short timeline for us, as we were stuck without a vehicle after ours suddenly died. We are so grateful. We had been following Grady for a couple of years and suddenly the timing was right. Grady made it super easy to get us up and running again. We flew into Idaho and drove the suburban home.
It's true, you can't find good rust free vehicles like this where we are in Canada. When we got the safety and certification done here, everyone was so impressed by how good of shape the vehicle was in. The safety mechanic and his dad both pulled out their cheque books 😅
Thanks again Grady and team for the top notch service you provided throughout the build and beyond, as well as the amazing work you and your team did on this vehicle.
We love our new rig, drives well and is super comfortable. We hope to finish the build out with Grady as we go.

@suboverland Just wondering what you use to lubricate the door hinges. I used some white lithium grease but it didn’t work. All my doors with the exception of the driver door, are sticking. Would you suggest using WD40?

We usually use white lithium grease. Wd40 has a pretty strong smell.
