- I decided to have another go at the Ganondorf Challenge, this time using Marth instead of Captain Falcon. I allowed myself to take damage to make it more entertaining, as a No Damage run would just be about 9,000+ perfectly spaced Forward Airs repeated over and over again. That would be bland, and I wouldn't have that.
When you tech on the ground, you conserve all the momentum you had while in knockback. This makes for some rather funny scenarios if applied correctly.
There were a few moments where I supposedly teched on "Air" instead of a ceiling; I assume this has to do with the way Melee handles extremely high levels of knockback. See, in normal instances of playing, this level of knockback usually never happens, and your position in relation to whether you can tech or not is pretty much what it is. In instances like this, where you move an extraordinary amount of distance within a single frame, Melee's position checking is off. It has trouble calculating where you're going to be at an exact point. The way that I see it, Melee thinks, based off of the trajectory you're expected to go, "Oh, it looks like you're going to hit a ceiling. I'll let you tech.", when you're actually right next to the ceiling in the time span of one frame.
Don't quote me on it, it's just what I think.

that phantom warlock punch was a 10/10
Shoyoumomo is phantom where you hit someone while they are stunned after a shield break
ATA v AzZaZiN a phantom hit is a glitch in smash bros where a player takes damage from an attack, but no hitstun or knockback.
SilverEternal22 and is this random or can you do it when you want
it can be replicated, it's the exact tangent line of an attack's hitbox and a receiver's hurtbox, where the game register's the attack's damage but none of the knockback, hitstun, or other effects. If you see the ganondorf wizard punch at the end; it's the very tip of the punch that connects with marth's character model, thus incurring the damage, but no actual knockback.
It's not a glitch the game gives you free damage for barely missing. It's just being nice.
More like "3 Ganons vs. the TAS Marth Challenge."

At some points Marth was going so fast he was under risk of breaking QPU alignment.

Nah. WhiteHawke does better CDI Ganon than MagicScrumpy does. "YOOM" isn't actually funny anymore after a remarkably short time.
IMO Up Special should be "BUUUURN!" (from "IT BUUUURNS!"), Warlock Punch should be "YOU MUST DIE!", taunt should be "Your face," (from "I will make your face the greatest in Koridai"), Up Tilt should be "You will die," one of his hurt quotes should be "NoOo!", another hurt quote should be "You dare?!" (from "You dare let light into my lair?!"), and two of his KO quotes should be "Not into the pit!" and "IT BUUUURNS!"

I legit thought he was gonna spam Counter and hope for the best.
This is TAS, he goes through this frame-by-frame and can go back frames to change inputs. The only difficulty involved is figuring out how to make things interesting.
The style of the TAS was really entertaining. Very creative and sometimes even believable.
Literally one of the best TASes I've seen. It must have taken forever to make this! I just wanted to make it known how much this kind of content is appreciated. :P

Awesome video Dyllon, but this could've been much more hilarious if you added in Fire Emblem references (i.e. skills, like when you got hit by the phantom warlock punch, maybe have Ganondorf proc a critical, with Marth having a counter skill nullifying it).
Unfortunately, I haven't played Fire Emblem, so I wouldn't know of any inside references with the game.

Fox vs the three Ganondorfs looks like that anime moment where the side characters are distracting the main villain or trying to stop him and then job to him.
Marth vs the three Ganondords looks like the opposite of it, an anime side character - or a main character who is just not as strong - who fights against three ultra-powerful villains or henchmen and defeats them against all odds.
That was badass.

Westile It's a phantom hit, the hit registers but has no knockback. Phantom hits also have to do with tangent lines
Marth techs for about 7 minutes
