Wow, I've been dabbling with chi gung for the past 20 years, but this really puts it in perspective. I know I shouldn't rationalize chi gung, so when you called it "the stuff", that was an epiphany. The goal is what I really need to hone, but when I'm doing chi gung I should just let 'the stuff' do it's thing, and only check if I'm going in the right direction after the session...I think that's what you were getting at. I can't wait for the next part! Thank you!!

I think the beginning fundamentals of chi gong is the same for most internal arts. How it's taught though, it varies slightly from teacher to teacher due to vocabulary. But essentially it's:
    1. Learn to sink the body
    2. Learn to stretch the fascia/open the joints
    3. Learn to feel magnetic energy with the breath
    4. Learn reverse breathing
    5. Do steps one to four all together and compress the out breath to pressurize the body and create a balloon effect.
Emptiness and beyond, at the moment, no idea.

I’ve also been practicing qigong for a long time as it’s a part of my Kungfu system. Would definitely be cool to see the books and resources you’ve used to do research and learn more about the practice! 🙏

He started doing "the stuff". I like that concept of not worrying about the name. Does it work?
Great video again! I see that I need to really work on the goals aspect of things and make them more specific.

Interesting stuff! Looks like I will have a reading list to get through on Meister Eckhart and Margaret Porete, all from a Wing Chun channel? From all my experience with WC they scoff at spiritualism and cosmology such as in TaiChi. Anyway I plan to explore this despite the East being seen as the culture. there is no end to knowledge

    Excellent talk :)
I live pretty much as a Taosit for me its most open way of thought plus it isnt a religion which to me is a bonus.
your journey Ican relate to you in many ways finding a person thats real anmd not a talker with flashy things and or moves but actually thats all they have .
I always love it when I see or hear someon that starts or is on there lack of betetr words connection journy putting things to gether better understanding but als onot fully understanding but continuing anyway:)
there are many different types or forms of Chi Gong the most common beginner thing is the breath work learning to breathe properly , most people in life dont breathe properly once a person learns how to breathe naturally like a child again they become more healthy the rest of chi gong depends on the type or style I practice every morning and use it thropugh out the day , just like when Ilearned the long form of taichi back in the mid 1990s evjn though for oevr a decade I dont do full setof Istil lsue most of wha tI learned in every day life whne i walk or go for runs even when speaking with people I use wha tI learned in both Tai Chi and Chi gong I just rarely use the martial part of those arts and to be totally honest the CHi Gong that I learn which are a few forms I learned through vids and many many books by using what I learnd from Tai Chi which Idid learn from a school then taught the beginners classes . so to be honet Iam probably missing parts of chi gong, same goes for allot of the TCM Ilearned which was throufgh bookss and videos I couldnt afford the 10K + back in the early 1990s that would have taight me both in Victoria BC and the last 4 yrs in China forthe CHi Gong and acupuncture . even now in my early 60s if I could afford to learn them properly from a sifu and or teacher I would go through all the training from beginning to end spending the rest of my life learning .

This is so good. Hold this idea in mind and read the first chapter of the gospel of John. "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God..."
Now, here's another interesting fact, what I know of the original teaching of the Buddha is that he taught the four noble truths, the eightfold path, and one prophecy "wait for the phra ariya maitreya the LORD of MERCY and when he comes become his disciples".
OK, Buddha lived around 600BC, and at the same time in Israel Isaiah was prophesying the Messiah (Isaiah 9) Emmanuel God with us who would bear our afflictions (Isaiah 53). The LORD OF MERCY?
Paul said something interesting about this in the book of Acts "God has not left himself without witness even among the gentiles ".
There's an interesting book on this subject by a missionary named Don Richardson called ETERNITY IN THEIR HEARTS and if I remember right he also goes into the "witness " in China through unique aspects of the Chinese language.

Well, you opened up too many doors and now they are here, in you causing you all types of problems. The key to understanding all things is ONE. If you don't have it, you will easily be deceived into thinking you know or experience the truth when you actually live in deception.
Ps. Many of your understandings are SO wrong, that it's tragic you're so sure.

@@webherring He states in the video that he is making up his own definitions for terms. You don't need to me to clarify beyond that.
What is interesting is that in the same video Adam claims practicing Chi Kung for 30 years, but also messing himself up, but then by defining terms in his own way that lead to him fixing himself.
Seriously, he seems confused on this topic, obviously was not guided initially, this is strange considering he has had "teachers" suppossedly.

@@yew2oob954you state that Adam’s labels are wrong, but he was able to re label the concepts to fit his needs and fortunately it worked for him. So the question is can you do what Adam demonstrates. Can you send your energy into another person and feel their structure and then disrupt it ? If so, then what are your labels for Adam’s concepts? Adam validates his knowledge by his demonstrations of the techniques. You should be able to do the same, right?
