This is absolutely fantastic. My big black self is out here dancing in my kitchen like I'm Shantae or something, this is so smooth and funky and the nostalgia is so high.
In both versions of Oil Ocean that I've done, I've called back to Burning Town for that Egyptian feel and a nice melodic tidbit. This song is just too good, man, what a way to start my Sunday!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Shantae the Half-Genie Hero - Oil Ocean Zone
& Sandopolis Zone
Despite sand and desert levels being a bit bland for my taste, I've always loved the songs that commonly appear on those. I don't know if it's the stereotypically Egyptian sounds, the catchy percussions, the instruments. I don't know honestly. Oil Ocean, despite not really being a sand/desert level, really encapsulates everything that I love from those songs. I particularly enjoyed Mania's version of the level and its music. And while I haven't played S&K in a while, I do remember liking its song.
That being said, I've always liked what you add to the original melodies. And it's always interesting to see several similar songs combined into a single composition. It's really satisfying hearing the transition from one song to the other. Another great work!!
You have such a golden touch for Sonic remixes. Well done on this, I hardly recognized it all, so unique!
