I actually liked Sandopolis, it was pretty fun and was the zone i first ever unlocked hyper sonic. Sandopolis act 2 was a pain but it wasn't too bad though, the rising sand and it getting dark were my only problems
I don't know about you, but when I saw Sonic fighting Eggman in the desert in the Sonic movie, I was humming this the entire time in my head as I personally thought it fit well
