Just bought one of these Venezianicos (more expensive than this) with a amethyst dial (actual semiprecious stone they say) and a tungsten bezel. Not super happy with the bracelet, but it's OK. 42mm with a Sellita SW200 movement. Running maybe +6s/day after a couple of weeks. Very pretty, definitely a dress diver.

Great review of the NEREIDE GMT. It really has a very unusual colour combination. Really a welcome change from the usual suspect colour scheme for a GMT-Watch ;-)
I also like the bracelet very much, especially the discreet clasp. The H-Link bracelet from Sinn has a similar look and I could imagine a similar buckle there.
And speaking of unusual colour combinations: I also liked the DINNER-AT-EIGHT with the green dial, but unfortunately I was too late.

I own Three Pieces from this brand (back when they used their original name, Meccaniche Veneziani). The design and quality is superb. Incredible value for the money. They look and perform better than many brands costing twice as much.
The models with Swiss movements are made in Switzerland and the ones with Seiko movements are made in China but final quality control takes place at the Venice HQ office.

Interesting bezel insert. It is very reminsicent of the visual effect of the new Seiko 5 Sports GMTs that have the reflective bottom half of the 24hr bezel insert. Overall, this color combo is good looking. My concern would be the watch and customer service. From many of what I've heard before the name/brand change, it wasn't that positive. Hope they've worked things out and greatly improved all aspects of the brand, products and it's customer service.
They have really stepped up their game both in quality and customer service. I must add that I have a collaboration with Veneezianico so my opinion might be colored but they have been nothing but great to me and I love me Nereide =)

It was very hard to define, because the color changes with every different angle. But more copper than gold I would say.

Hmmm, Nautalis bracelet, dress watch dial, washed out palette, I'll take your word as to the quality but this is not an attractive watch imho. Yr make up analogy was dead on, but not a plus to me but it is at least quite original.

The worst ever micro I’ve have their first gmt edItion… pretty yes - crappy? Triple yes, customer service? Bad, manufacturer quality bad, deceptive yes. Come on they’re not even in Venice
It looks cheap, the 12 indices look weird and not aligned, the original seiko gmt is cheaper and better, what's the point of getting the same watch with less quality from an unknown brand with nothing special to offer?! From what I've seen you couldn't work with the crown easily, this watch has many problems and I thought you would point to some of them but you didn't. I'm starting to lose interest in your channel, it seems like you're not an honest reviewer.
