Great gig log as usual Rick! I just bought SoundSwitch (with the DMX dongle) a few days ago, and I'm having a little trouble getting started with it. I'd love to see you do a tutorial video for it!
@@DJRickWeb Yeah, I was just referring to when you said "We're actually gonna be doing some tutorials for you guys on how to setup SoundSwitch and get it running". I'd be interested to see that, as I've really enjoyed your past tutorials.
I mean I am pushing limit for this gig the limit light is blinking for sure but it doesnt destort. I have pushed them like this for many gigs with no issue
We've been rockin soundswitch for about 2 years now. It's been amazing. The programming isn't bad, just depends on what you want it to do. Autoloops are the way to go unless your're doing a programmed show. I'm not a fan of autoscripting them.
@@DJRickWeb Oh Cool !! That's about where I have them now and they don't stay put lol. By the end of the night, the subs creep about 2 feet from where you originally set them up.
Hey Rick great video. I've just added both lighting uplights to my setup running through sound switch. I'm having issues with brightness when using autolooped light shows. I have the intensity turned to maximum. Have you had the same issues and if so how did you overcome them? Thanks in advance
I also own a pair since January and have zero issues. I recently did an event with 300 people in a large auditorium and it sounded great. Love them. I also use Evolve 50’s and 30’s for smaller events. I got rid off my separate tops and bottoms. Best investment I’ve ever made!
@@djjerryg_soundexpressenter5874 so I’m thinking about picking up a pair once the white comes out but I’ve been seeing on Facebook a few with some issues especially with heat/limiting and shutting down for 15 min...the group is Maui 44G2 owners
Hello, I was informed by Ben Stowe at NLFX Professional that it was an issue in the past that was since corrected. My speakers haven’t had that issue and I did a 7 hour event in an outdoor setting under a canopy. I received mine in January 2022. I heard prior to that there was some issues.
Hi. I am DJ from Russian. can you listen to miyagi "i got love"? In our country it's famous song. But many listeners from the USA talk about the peculiarity of this performer. can you try to put this track on the event?)
I could never be a wedding DJ, watching these uncordonated people try to dance to the same lame songs week after week, man I hope you charge them a pretty penny.
Holy crap - that Lizzo to Whitney transition was FIRE
Thanks
Yeah the Maui's are that deal used them for all my weddings so far used mines to cover a 120-150 capacity wedding.
Not bashing soundswitch, but why are the uplights in your video not in sync with the music?
Possibly the songs didn’t have a proper beatgrid?
Looked pretty in sync to me. Maybe your considering a different tempo. It picks up on different instruments in the songs
I have 2 maui 44 old model and 2 maui 44 g2 new one and the old one is better more tight bass because the old ond have 2 of 12in sub speakers..
It is dope. The way it reacts to the songs I have. Really cool . Also the auto script s are fun
Wow! That system fills the room very well! And a space-saver too!
Any issues with the 44s clipping/limiting out ?
Absolutely was pushing the limiter but it sounded great on dance floor
Great gig Rick!
Are those the ADJ element hex uplights or the booth of lights
Both lighting
Nice Gig - but one Question: Where are your Moving-Heads ? Im missing some „movement-lightning-structure“
Greez from Berlin, Germany
Client didnt opt for them

Hi friend! I wanted to know the name of that sound system and if it is better than the bose L1 pro 16? Thank you!!
Ld maui 44 g2 and yes way better
Seems to work well. Well done!
Are you running and subs ? Do you have any issues with the 44’s clipping ?

I love using sound switch. I like the auto scripting for the most part but it misses the drops of songs sometimes
Very good video. Can you do a mixing tutorial (open format) and a sound switch review, tutorial and in depth video
In the works
I'm curious as to how you set your levels on the back of the Maui 44G2 for your receptions. I currently have both my knobs 2/3 of the way up.
About 2 aclock on both dials

Lol I have that problem on certain floors lol. Put a few balls of gaff tap on the back two feet
could this system play for a 600 people hall room
No
@@DJRickWeb could the bose L1 pro 32 sub 2 can?
Hello Dj just asking what is the tittle of the song after temperature
Have you tried the ADJ WMX1 yet?
No
@@DJRickWeb That shit is the truth!!!! WolfMix!!!!
Good video. Nice venue for uplighting 🙂
Yes, but the effects could be better programmed
I’ll be buying your T-shirt when I get paid next
Nice One!

Would love to speak to Marcellus if he's the guy who did the programming. Yours look bright! Mine do not
Autoscripted**
Hit up my email Marcellus monitors it
Good gig log…Rick have you had any issues with these speakers at all ? Limiting ? Turning off ? etc

I’d contact Ben Stowe at NLFX Professional. He’ll reassure you when you’re ready make the purchase.
Thanks for the heads up regarding that group I just joined
Looks like a good place to get married huh

Only way to get views and keep the channel growing anymore. Everyone is doing it now

You make more money in weddings than any other DJ profession. Except like headline guys
Sounds like an echo chamber.
Slightly. Not as bad as some out there.
