I don’t remember the exact details but I do remember cameras in Ledisi face asking her what happened and she handled the situation with such class and grace. #Ledhead

I remember when I lived in San Francisco and a dear friend fellow singer told me you have to go see this singer, at the Up Down Club where she had a residency before she is gone and hits the airwaves. And I swear seeing her in this small intimate room was like watching a small room become a stadium....and boom literally a year after that or so her first solo album came out. I was so glad to have seen her 'before' all of this and to see all the amazing growth and expression she has shown which was never a doubt....a true artist and full on expression - words cannot say. Just all around Love for Ms. Ledisi

There was a certain singer (rhymes with Beyonce) who decided to steal her shine at the Grammys a few years ago when she sang a song by Mahalia Jackson in the movie Selma. So that singer decided she wanted to sing that song instead of Ledisi herself. Ledisi is a bad ass singer and so underrated. She deserves more praise than she gets. Love love her.
Yep and I have not felt the same about Beyonce ever since. Had Beyonce let Ledisi perform, that would have given her MAJOR exposure. I was hurt for her and she was also hurt about that. I too love her to pieces! Got a chance to meet her in DC and the love and warmth just radiates from her pores. She is a beautiful woman inside and out and very kind!

She didn't realize she said outloud "omg im so nervous, what am I even doing here"? One of the sound guys turned to her and said " I did the sound on (some big event) a show you did a few weeks ago and trust me; you've got nothing to worry about, you deserve this". Like come on, if that doesn't making sit up straight and love yourself!!!

I went to see Ledisi live 3 years ago and unbelievable her voice is even more beautiful and powerful live!! I had a meet and greet with her she is tiny in person and has a such warm welcoming energy!! I definitely want to see her live again.
