The last couple of watermelon seasons, I have had bad luck picking a good one. They either are not sweet or they are all dark fleshed inside. It really makes me want to give up my favorite summer fruit. I will take the lady's suggestions in mind next time I buy one. I never considered the "yellow spot" and the "webbing" characteristics. I will try it though. I hope it will bring me a good one next time. Thanks for the suggestions. 👍🏾
