i have a question, what does tha pause in Glacier Park do in a run? i've been noticing it became a meme when you're doing a modded run and even in normal run, but never get why is that a thing
The first two hubs, Uka Uka will give you a tip every time you finish a race and are sitting on the podium. This isn't present in hubs 3 and 4. Because of that, for some reason, pressing pause on the one frame that inputs can be made will allow you to pause the game, and skip the congratulations that uka uka says for getting the collectible. After the sixth tip, every podium from that point on in the save can be paused. It's a lot of time save in 101%, understandably, but Any% NMG it's rather small, with there only being six pause opportunities.
