I don't really follow any CTR speedrun stuff but I'm finding this very entertaining :) easy watching and chill personality too

The CPU will always take one of a few paths, so usually to get them to run into items you have to pick one of their lanes and place them there. Also, keeping a camera on the CPU probably slows them down, as the rubberbanding comes into effect the further away they are from you.

funny that no matter the category, tiny arena is always the most difficult track lol

Can you do a run without pressing X? Yildun has a good video on how this can be done through reversing into turbo pads and turbo boost items. I think it would make for an interesting challenge.

Mate I played CTR for YEARS without knowing about constantly drifting. For me, I only drifted when I hit a land boost, but I didn't use it thrice because the car spins XD

I still managed to get all platinum relics on easy mode the first time I played this game, I did not even know what drifting was.

As a kid I managed to beat both CTR and CNK without drifting because I didn't know how to! (I did know how to jump though!)

I have played this game for 15 years. I can't get Beach Ball, N'Ballism, Dot Dash, and 4 others to platinum. I am totally surprised by your godly skills

Did you know you can "shoot" a missile backwards if you hold the "look behind" button (I think it's L2), back on the dpad, and then shoot? Doesn't work 100% of the time but it's a pretty neat trick if you accidentally bag it on a hard mode adventure playthrough or something. Don't think it works in NF though.
