To answer your question, it’s really warm and beautiful here in Alberta in the day. Wonderful showers to cool off the day, with showers into the evening, and then beautiful in the evening just in time to sleep. It’ll be great for you to have a solid roof over your head and not glass. No wonder you’re melting in there with the sun on you for hours. Well, I know you haven’t done mixed media yet, but I see it in your future my friend. You’ve already started using the different oxides to get different effects in your new Alfred goodies, and they look incredible! I love spending time with you Margreth. ❤

When I don’t have black mounting pads I run a sharpie around the edges before I remove them from the backing sheet. You can use any colour marker. Fabulous project today. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
Turned out awesome again 😍. My dad was a weatherman all his working life. When we were kids (in the 60s and 70s) he would bring home the huge printouts from work that they no longer needed and we used to draw and colour on the back. How I wish I had those printouts now but using the other side with lovely lines and maps and numbers 🙄. I loved the little arrow, the little notebooks and the slanted belly band. So creative, I love your enthusiasm it makes me want to create. TFS (and hope Jackson is doing well) ❤ xxx

Oooh - look at you venturing into a little mixed media! Lovely! You used oxide inks in your version of mixed media...just add a little water splat...it changes the oxide ink. More mixed media instantly! I really love this - your digital kit compliments all of it beautifully.

You have such an imagination working with paper. I am amazed at times with your visons and ideas. Tip: IfI am trying to color something metal like a darker eyelet or brad to take on a rust look i have used tim holtz, rusty hinge, and salvage patina paints. I just use a small paint brush and put where I need it.
I have been loving Alfred make. Thanks. Those eyelets or brats that you color with ink you can put clear nail polish. If you don't want to ne glossy, you can try a thin layer of art.
Lovely Margreth, love this spread. Maybe clear nail polish over the eyelets, to protect them. Suggest damp teatowel around your neck :). Also, paper/card reinforcer circle under the arrow for spinning! Off to try the corner tucky/belly band thingy. I love my drippy too!
